Wonderful, one of the things completed, that Bethesda was too lazy to. She can even be a fully functional Hearthfire steward.
But the spriggan buzz sound is really annoying. There should be a way to tune it down to a gentle sound or turn it off. Can't use her with that noise...
Not sure why, but when she is following me her health drains away until she is bleeding out. I don't know what script or spell it could be. If I wait an hour, her health is back up to normal. But slowly drains away again.
Update to the below, the game still has the spriggan flagged as a non-permenant. So if you dismiss it, it will despawn from the game. I was able to fix this by adding the respawn tag to her ABCS config in TESV edit. This makes it so that when snapleg cave refreshes, so does she.
good idea^. but iirc, the vanilla spriggan at snapleg, the one in the cage, if u release it from the cage, then it helps u fight, then runs out of the cave all the way to Eldergleam, where it stays the rest of the game. so if u have like AFT, u can just make the vanilla one into a follower and save an esp slot. i think going to eldergleam makes more sense then going back to that cage if dismissed
I been playing with this follower for awhile now. In my Skyrim this happens:
Before installing this mod, the Spriggan would exit the cave after I unlocked the cage it was in. And that would be the end of that actor. I did not check if the cave would respawn a new Spriggan locked in the cage again later.
After installing this mod, the Spriggan idles in the cage until I asked it to follow me. When dismissed, the Spriggan returns to the cage. When the cave resets, the critters and witches are back, and the Spriggan follower is still in the cage, and the cage is locked again. The Spriggan uses Lydia's voice (kind of cool).
The only follower manager I'm using is Vilja. This Spriggan follower is working as advertised for me.
Hey! I love this idea! Sadly, I already have done this mission (will do it again in a new game), but I was wondering if you could do the same for Melka, a non-hostile hagraven in Blind Cliff Bastion? There's a mission with her and she's real cool.
When I downloaded this mod I had already cleared the cave with the companions story quests and she wasn't there. If you have the same problem : Open console -> help spriggan press page up & down to scroll through it, look for whatever codes have "NPC_" on the left depending on how many spriggan mods you're using there could be about 3-5 (i had 5) type -> player.placeatme [code] 1
