Changing your current character to look like this, including changing sex, is not a problem. But never use console showracemenu. Instead, use "ShowRaceMenu Alternative" found here at nexus http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/20394/? This is a simple mod that does the same but protects character stats, etc. It adds a spell (a shout actually) that you use instead. Easy and works well.
That's because you're using a console command. Console commands are there for the developers during testing, so of course they have a chance of messing up your game.
It's more just a courtesy to include a warning like that in the description.
Despite how obvious it may seem to you or I that changing your race in the middle of a play through will bork your stats due to racials and such, it's not apparent to everyone.
A warning helps to alleviate the inevitable bitching the author may be subjected to. lol
Side note, sick preset. Will probably use for my thief/rogue character next.
I've updated the description but yeah, it's not obvious to everyone. Things like this I don't always think of especially with me coming from an IT support background. If anyone is in this profession they will know what I mean.
It's early days yet for me for Skyrim modding so any feedback good and bad is welcomed.
