Thank you, I liked it a lot, I was using another one but the reality is that the same thing happens in all of them, they fill a town with generic characters with no functionality other than taking up space in Skyrim and they put houses and trees everywhere. I really liked yours, you have maintained the vanilla lore and you have given it the touches to make it attractive.
That's odd, that issue should've been fixed in the version you downloaded. Try loading a previous save then completing the quest again to see if it works a different time.
Odd. Everyone else having these problems didn't seem to have the issue after updating to 1.1.02. Do you have any other mods installed that you think might be affecting this one? Is your Skyrim install up to date?
I have the same quest issue as Qwertyspace, but BlackenedJEM's solution worked well. About the Mod itself, you've done a great work, samv96UK, It fits in Skyrim perfectly!
Your mod has the best Rorikstead in my opinion: simple and effective, it gives an authentic feel :-) I could even go as far as saying it is... *immersive* Thank you! Unfortunately, the mod is not compatible with Immersive Citizens - AI overhaul :-( There is at least one conflict: a shack added by that mod conflicts with the inn location. I love the improvements added by that AI mod, so I hope you'll move your inn so I can soon go back to using your Rorikstead .esp ;-)
Great mod just tried it out had to use vanilla inn as I have Lively Inns and Taverns mod & pernods inns & taverns mod. But my question is are the chests & cupboards safe storage in the cottage?
Has that missing troll skull bug been fixed? I have this mode from a long time ago & remember I got stuck in that player home mission. Kill the troll then find the troll skull...only it was never anywhere in the house there were no mission markers & that was that.
Same, can't get the house. I click the buy the house dialogue option but he doesn't take my money just says it'll be ready next time I visit. I fast travel to riften and back and still no house. Other than that it looks great. Would there be a way to manually convert the house through the console?
I'm having the same problem (or I should say again since I restarted the game from scratch and the house quest failed to initialise once more). Got the dialog from Juanne but he didn't take the skull and not sure if he took my money but he said he'd have it ready next time I visited and it's been over 30 game days and still no joy.
I too am happy to use a console quest command to kick it into gear if necessary.
The rest of the cosmetic changes are great though!
