    Great mod, i've been playing a "samurai" character and having a rusty katana (and no kodachi or wakizashi, being able to dual-wield katanas) didn't seem right. What would make it perfect (besides the details mentioned by other users) would be to be able to craft both the katana and the wakizashi, as most crafting mods allow to craft the blade's sword but obviously not the wakizashi.

    Very nice. I stumbled on this while looking for something else and love the two tsuka. It just never seemed right showing only one weapon when a right and left handed item where active.

    The "something else" was actually a wakizashi rather than my current Katana primary and some form of double bladed western style dagger. Maybe I'll have a go at item modding when the ck comes out if not beyond my noob abilities. (Edit; I see Wakizashi was mentioned in the beginning so the idea is out there already.. come on CK.. let's see what can be done then..)

    Nerdy Nitpick; the swords look to be upside down. While a Tachi is warn blade down for drawing on horseback, Katana and Wakizashi are warn blade up. Bonus points if the Wakizashi possition can be moved closer to the hara where traditionally warn; I believe the katana be the upper-outer tsuba. (nits based on the Musō Jikiden Eishin-ryū possitioning and related reading I'm familiar with so by no means do I claim to be an expert. It's the modders mod too cheers for providing how you like it; I'm just glad you provided it at all.)

    I tried this mod (the daisho version) and I think it's well done. I just have one small issue: the blood splatter decals seems to be applied unusually with the mod actived. Where normally the blade would be covered with blood, with this mod the majority of the blood goes on to the hilt, with only three discrete patches on the blade, which always seem to be in the same place.

    Is this just all in my imagination, or is it a side effect of the method you used to create this mod?

    @abakus: aww, well that's ok for me. Can you just maybe extend the blade of your muramasa two-hander? The process of making it would be somewhat just the reverse of the process you use to shrink the Blades sword into a wakizashi. I'm using that mod as well you see.

    I really don't know what problem causes that, try use the console command:

    player.additem 0x02001a 1

    where x ranges from 1, 2, 3, ... depends on the index of the mod, and see if you can get it.

    Also, could somebody confirm the accessibility issues of the side sword?
