Doesn't work for me. It shows message "MenuTime Updated!" in top left corner, but nothing happens after that. There's no MCM menu either.

My Skyrim and SKSE are up to date, all other mods work well.

Could you, please, try it now? Use your older save (when Menu Time wasn't installed yet) or make clean save (uninstall - save - install - load). Thanks for reporting, by the way.

Updated! See "Change Log" for details.
New looting feature for dead creatures should be compatible with every mod that adding new creatures, since Menu Time is using item weight as main parameter for time calculating.

Would you be willing to upload your script source? I would like to take a look at it, because I can't figure out why I can't get it to work. Thanks! Great idea for a mod!

Hi! Thanks so much for doing this mod! I've been wanting a mod like this for some time now so, as I mentioned in an earlier comment, I DO have many suggestions because I've had plenty of time to think about it, lol!

So, if possible, I think more customization would be awesome! I, personally, would like to have the option for individual tasks to use real-time or to, instead, choose a set amount of time. For example: I like the idea that reading a book uses real-time, but I'd like to be able to set training to take 4 hours (as long as I've ACTUALLY trained and haven't just exited out of the menu).

Also, it appears that the Container Menu encompasses barrels, alchemy satchels, and also dead animals (from rabbits to dragons). It would be nice if there could be more distinctions between such tasks. That way a player could set the time to loot an alchemy satchel to real-time, a barrel or chest to 5 minutes, a rabbit to 20 minutes, a deer to 2 hours, or whatever they want.

Another idea: maybe you could incorporate an option to disable certain menus while in combat so players can choose to disable reading a book or looting a corpse while in combat.

And finally, similar to my training menu idea, maybe your mod could have some way of knowing whether a task was actually done. That way, if I go to loot a deer but decide not to take anything then only real-time will have passed instead of 2 hours.

I'm thinking that the friendliest way to include all of these changes (if you choose to do so) would be to list all of the menus/tasks in the very left hand section of the MCM window, under your title "Menu Time". Then each menu/task would have it's own separate options for time and combat and whatnot. But of course, you would probably know what would be the best way to set up any changes in the MCM.

Anyway, thanks again for doing this mod in the first place and also for taking the time to read this and everyone else's comments! I'm gonna go endorse this mod now and see what else you've published, too! Keep up the awesome work!

Also, maybe a multiplier could be an option. For tasks like tanning or smithing, it would be nice to be able to set them to real-time and then multiply it by 5 or 10 or whatever the player wants. That way, it wouldn't take the same amount of time to craft 1 set of leather strips as it would to craft 100.

Hi! What a brilliant ideas! I really like it! Unfortunately, I'm too busy for modding right now. Looks like I have to take a break from modding for a week.

aw, shucks! thanks for the compliment

as far as your schedule goes, i guess i'll just have to wait, lol! i've got a mind for math and logic but i've only taken a couple of programming classes, and those were about 15 years ago
i had kind of started looking into learning papyrus so i could do something like this on my own since i want it so bad, but what's frustrating is knowing that someone like you (who already knows this stuff) could do it SO much faster than it would take me to learn it and then try to do it and then fail miserably and then try again and fail again and then PM a modder or two for help and then probably still not get it right... lol! my point being that i'm willing to wait for whoever is willing to do it

in the mean time, i think i'll still try to learn a bit about papyrus just in case there's a minute chance that something somewhere in my brain will click and i'll miraculously just GET it....

well, i hope this is something you'll work on! i'll keep an eye out for more stuff from you (when you have the time/motivation, of course). thanks again!

So if I'm in the middle of combat, open up the inventory menu, search for a long time, then close the menu, will I be already taken damage and killed?

some people like to know what they're downloading and adding to their game BEFORE they do so. because some people don't like to risk ruining their game just to see what a mod does. that's why there's a description section. and a comments section - for people to ask about stuff that wasn't included in the description....

No, you won't be killed since this mod doesn't disable pause mode in menus.

This seems to be a coincidence, i have been looking for a way to make a faster wait/sleep mod that also allows you to set the amount of days/hours to wait/sleep, and i was thinking of using a load screen, if you mod does what i think it does, then you can achieve this, unlike me, i can not, i have no skill, im just an idea guy....I hope you think about it, you are able to alter the games time and from what i gathered form the comments, you mod uses a load screen to alter the time base on the time spent in the game menu, im sure you can achieve this, and i hope you will.
