If you are a vampire lord, the eyes are default red. My mod adds 2 textures eyevampire_01.dds is the white eyes and eyevampire_02.dds is the red. try renaming eyevampire_01.dds to eyevampire_02.dds and eyevampire_02.dds to eyevampire_01.dds and you should be good. I made both textures to add some diversity.

So, how does this work? should I select only one? If i do, all the vampires will look the same?

Thank you for these really awesome vamp eyes. This is my favorite eye mod for vampires. Thanks for sharing.

There's a Yellow Tint to the Volkihar Vampire's eyes. Is there any way you can make a fix to get rid of that? I use the white eye texture, and all the vampires, including Serana in castle Volkihar all have yellow eyes.

I'll look into it, might need to create a new texture set for the special vampires.

Thank you, I noticed with almost ever vampire eye mod I got, I had the eyes I wanted, but some of the other vampires had a yellow tint to them. Also, I asked some other people about it, and some random dude messaged some weird conspiracy thing about people wanting to steal our Facebook and Twitter usernames and passwords through Skyrim.... What a nut case.

LOL I had a look and seems fine for me, serana has the white eyes and everyone else in the castle has red or white as they should. I am using modified vampires though using my own mod. The only way to check it would be for me to start a new vanilla game. I think that the vanilla special vampires use a different eye texture set. I will work on this soon when I finish working on my current mod.

I've discovered that the colour of glow isn't affected by the texture, but by the mesh. As a workaround for my other post I installed your textures for white eyes and HN66's meshes. My eyes glowed yellow. I also learned from another mod that said glow effects are baked into facegenfiles for edited NPC's so the easy way for me is to accept the yellow eye glow on my self and every vampire. Or do it the hard way and edit all vampire facegen meshes to have a white glow effect. Thankfully the intensity of the glow is properly toned down with the texture. I can live with the yellow though..makes it easier for me lol

The eyes on all the vampires are much better now. But I was wondering if there was a way to make this compatible with http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/27783/? for the longer eyelashes and all.

Edit: I mean the best of both of the mods could be combined..your textures, and reduced glow, and HN66's eyelashes. I really like his mod. Is the glow produced in the mesh or in the texture? If it's the mesh, how would I go about reproducing your reduced glow results?

a personal preference for myself is vampire eyes that glow, i like the alternates you've picked, but can you make a 2nd version where they glow slightly brighter?

I had a go at increasing the luminosity, but it made them look kind of weird with some color bleeding.

I tried the white and the yellow ones but all look reddish. I uninstalled 'Improved Eyes', but this didn't help. Maybe it its ECE. Anybody a hint? I was looking for such eyes for a while now and would like to make them work. Btw: VampireLord female.

tried them on my player character and they are white. some of the eyes will still be red as there are 2 eye tsxtures. I left some of the eyes red to add some diversity.

Ahh, that was a good hint. I switched the textures by renaming them. It seems if you are already a vampire lord you always get the red eyes. Now it works for me. Thx.
