I like this mod. I need to come back to sovngarde to make some videos... I'll macking a movie On skyrim and your mod will help me come sure. So thankyou. Ps: can i bring follower? I need to know ????
I don't mean to harp on you man, but this is just one of those mods you got to ask yourself, why? There are already dozens of this exact mod not to mention better ones that have cool mechanics like Sovngarde - Operation Comeback. I'm sorry to be mean but did you even search the word Sovngarde before you decided to make and publish this mod?
No offense but I don't think you did search, otherwise you would have found "door to Sovngarde" and "Back To Sovngarde" which are exactly the same, they both add a simple door and then you got the simple but more lore friendly "Portal to Sovngarde" that adds a simple portal to and from Sovngarde, and all three of these are on page 1 of the search results
Some of those mods add extra content such as buildings, flowers, misc weather and sky edits, npcs. If I were looking for really simple like this it'd be to maybe edit my own Sovngarde a bit. I say let it be, if it isn't in the same location as the other doors/portals it can be helpful. I do think Halls of Dovahdor is more worth the download. You might break things with Alduin if you don't do the main quest to get there the first time, and if you do then it feels more like a reward. But then again that's not for "simple" works.
Rather amazingly, there has been a recent resurgence of interest in Sovngarde. There hadnt been ANY mods for a year or so, and those that were listed were dead and buggy as hell. Indeed, of the 5 that have come out in the last 3 months, one is already according to the modder's own words too buggy and dead.
To take your question to its logical extreme, whats the point of any mod that can be done with a simple console command? Then again, its nice to see people working and learning.
