Update: The latest version of UHP (2.03) appears to relegate previous patch updates to script form, which means I can't undo what they have done to the beds. I have found a work around which works on the original version of this mod, you can discard the patch as it won't work anymore.
Go to each Bard and Housecarl bed in game. ESC Save, Open Console, left click the bed, in console type;
clearownership
If you did it right the bed will no longer say it is (Owned). If you accidentally clicked something other than the bed, reload from the save you should have made and try again. Do this for all three Hearthfire houses, a total of six beds. Sorry for the inconvenience, I just can't find another way to make this work. --------------------------------------------------------------- A recent update of the Unofficial Hearthfire Patch has broken part of this mod. The Bard and the Housecarl will no longer sleep at night but will instead stand beside the bed. This is because UHP changed the ownership of the beds to the Adopted Children. I have a patch for this that I have uploaded that requires you to have loaded: Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp Unofficial Hearthfire Patch.esp I have permission to use the patches in my mods and have uploaded a patch that will fix this issue under optional files. If you have adopted children living in a house without a downstairs bedroom do no install this patch. You need to have a downstairs bedroom for the adopted children.
You must have ApachiiHairFemale_v_1_3 (fourth download on her site, read the description for details).
Hearthfires.esm ApachiiHairFemales.esm
Both have to be activated or you will Crash to Desktop on load.
I have been looking everywhere for a mod like this. My valkerie squad kicked the male housecarls outside. Now I hear mining all day and night. Time to bring them back inside with a new look.
Thank you very much for creating this mod and taking the time to do it well.
Merge Plugins Standalone throws this on a scan of v2.0. It cannot fix the error.

Rayya isn't replaced, for me. Mod Organizer says Hearthfire Girls is winning all conflicts, and I've got the requisite ESMs, but she has the same name and appearance, as before.
I have been running this mod since it was uploaded and love the changes/additions you have made. Thanks!
Occasionally, Valerie has a long, green streak (looks like an elongated triangle) running away from her chest. Is this unique to my game? Anyone know if there is something that I can do to prevent this?
First off thanks for the mode, they all look great. I just have a few questions though. Why not allow the Apachii full version instead of just the female version? I have to have them both installed now, it can be an issue for others with less HD space. The other question is why does Raychel continue to follow me even after parting ways with her several times?
As far a the Apachii Hair Females goes, I like the hair. Personally I have a 2 TeraByte HD. Call it an oversite on my part, but I didn't think that I would be crimping someones HD space. I have both esm's installed because other mods that I use require them. I have about 100 of them running.
You do have the option of editing the file yourself in CK. Select Hearthfire Girls.esp in the Data pane. Select ApachiiHairFemales.esm in the right window and press CTRL+DEL to remove the esm from the file. Then double click ApachiiHair.esm and set the girls hair at will or you could set the hair to something Vanilla.
Of course you would have to have the HD space to have Creation Kit installed.
As far as Raychel following you after being dismissed, I have no idea. Do you have a follower mod installed? I didn't adjust anything having to do with follower, marriage or Steward. The only thing I changed was the bard and that was to make them sleep.
Thanks, I think there was an issue with the UFO file and a hideout mod. After I uninstalled it she stopped following me even after it was reinstalled. As for the hair I just have to uninstall 1.4 in order to create a new character, both 1.5 & 1.4 are causing CDT errors.
Thanks for this! Just a FYI- Wrye Bash reports that the masters have been reordered in Hearthfire Girls Sleep UHP.esp- Looks like your masters have Unofficial Skyrim patch.esp loading after Hearthfires.esm when it should load before.
I have the Falkreeth girl (she just wandered up to Lakeside Manor when I built it), but I have had the Dawnstar house for a while and can't find that Steward (Gretchen?)... are there locations for the girls (she is not at the Dawnstar Jarl's Hall anymore)? Perhaps ID codes so I can use the console to locate them?
Update: When I pay the girls to furnish the house, nothing happens... have tried sleeping and traveling away and back overnight... any thoughts?
You meet the housecarls in the Jarl Hall in Morthal, Dawnstar and Falcreath when you finish the Thane quest line (help people in the hold). It is possible to buy the land and build the house while never receiving a housecarl. You have to be a Thane.
The issue with not furnishing the house is a problem with Heartfires.esm. Bethesda has never updated the DLC with a bug fix (that I am aware of). Sometimes it is impossible to buy sawn logs, or the Jarl of Dawnstar wont sell you land (his steward does, the stooge by the fire), etc., and other buggy features with the quests. Hopefully the Unofficial Patch Series will address this.
As far as finding the Housecarls, I have a mod, well an editable text file, that can be executed in Console using the bat command. Where is the Housecarl [http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50583]. You have to edit the text files with the load order number of Hearthfires.esm. This number can be found in NMM.
On my system Hearthfires.esm is the sixth file in the load order. Skyrim being 00. So Hearthfires is 05 on my system. That said...
Or in Console type: help "sawn log" you will get xx00300e the xx is the load order of Hearthfires.esm on your system.
To fall out of the sky on top of Gretchen I type in Console player.moveto 0500521f Raychel player.moveto 05005216 Valerie player.moveto 0500521d
As I said change the first two numbers to reflect the load order of Hearthfires.esm on your system.
The improvements happen over time. It takes more than it did when you were furnishing one of the standard player houses. I know this because I did the same thing, and each time I return the downstairs of my main hall looks better.
Thank-you for the replies! Turns out I had not been made Thane of Dawnstar... once I was, the Steward showed up (silly me). Anyway, problem now is I had made another follower (mod) steward in her place (before I figured it out)... now I can't get rid of the follower to allow the proper Hearthfire Girl Steward to take over. Even if I uninstall the follower mod, the game still behaves like I already have a steward. Bottom line, anyone know how to fire/change a steward for Hearthfire?
