I must say I think your designs are very original but given its size and bulk I would personally put it as a two handed weapon and I think that if you came up with a sheath and sorted the texture out then you would have quite a popular mod. All in all it has potential and the idea is really quite good.
the whole texture is in grey color and the UV map is totally messed up. no wonder this will not work. also you pulled one model over the other. was exported twice in one nif mesh lol. why that?
i did the weapon after i watched a youtube tutorial about cinema4d and nifscope, i dont know how to fix it ... do you know a good tutorial or programm where i can learn that, or how did you learn it ?
i use always Blender3D for the modeling part itself. but the UV mapping tool in Blender is pure crap, so i use the little tool Unfold3D for that. really good results.

This is honestly good for a FIRST weapon. I would possibly suggest going with a slightly simpler mesh that is easier to texture. But keep it up, the only way you get better at this is by practice. The texture is definitely where this weapon lacks.
