Thanks for making this mod. You wrote that there will be a buyable version. - It that still true? I love buyable houses. With all those realistic need mods and thieves in the game you would expect more buyable houses. Sadly it is not. Most houses from 2012 are corruptd now. So their are not many left.
I read the location is changed. "This mod is incompatible with any mod that changes the location of the house." "Such as Provincial Courier Service." - Is this still true?
- Can someone provide more and uptodate pictures?
I have a mod installed with an outer market in Whiterun; so i like to see if it fits.
Nice simple player home with a very authentic "feel" to it. Perfect for a new player, I justify the "free house" as a reward for being a newly appointed Thane of Whiterun. It's location at the crossroads fits the role of Thane very well. Very nicely done, it adds some more weight to the idea that Whiterun is a big city with outskirts.
(I had to clean the mod with TessEdit for a number of ITM's but no deleted navmeshes or anything.)
Update:
After playing with the mod installed, the biggest glaring issue other than what's noted above, is that the house building needs to be marked "is full lod" in the CK.
Right now the house, very prominently located by the way, will pop up out of nowhere for the player as he approaches the bridge area. That really sucks to be honest, and it can be easily remedied by the mod author.
Like the design and location adds something to a lonely corner of Skyrim.
To solve the clash with Provincial Courier Service, perhaps turn the farm through 90 so its on the river side of the road? Could add a fishing pouch perhaps?
I love the location, and I *almost* love the simplicity. But it's a tad to empty for me. Maybe a fireplace, a few more pieces of furniture or something like that to add a bit more life to it?
Arthmoor have placed a post office at that very location (provincal couriers), you may want to look for a backup site since Arthmoors mod have become rather popular.
Ok if it is on the other side of the road, I was judging a picture. I am currently unable to download mods at all since I got an internet blackout at home, apperantly the broadband connection to our house was cut by misstake somehow.
I put it last in my load order, but when I brought a follower across the bridge and past the house she turned around and bolted in the other direction...
It's probably a border issue. Usually is. Make sure your Navmeshes are flooded with green when you select a triangle and press "F". If they don't turn fully green, and you don't see green bars across the border (by the end of the bridge I believe), it won't work properly.
