Khajit are intelligent, quick, and agile. They make excellent thieves or assassins due to their natural agility and unmatched acrobatics skill. This is not reflected in the vanilla game, so this Mod helps in khajit immersion.
Works great. The <.1s delay or so is fine and you get used to it very fast. For my current character I just had to disable the cat and jump boost as I didn't want a heavy armor acrobat.
Is there any way to add a feature to jump forward more? When i was thinking of sprint jump thats what I was thinking of, to jump the distance you would have moved if you were sprinting instead. Using skyrim unbound and disabled shouts and word walls so im trying to get around the parts where i need whirlwind sprint to get to chests etc.
The boosted jump will compensate for the character slowing down, for now. I'm experimenting with a 'dash' or 'leap', but so far nothing has been better than the spring jump
yup, i would say something that triggers whirlwind sprint's boost forward effect after you character is jumping up would be something alright, but most players would like face plant the ledge there trying to jump on only to fall back down if this effect wasn't done right. in which case you'd be better off just having a boosted upwards jump followed by the boost forward effect being triggered at the peak point, its not the desired effect mind you but it works in the same fashion that skyrim would reconnize the attempts of a forward boosted jump from a sprint'
in anycase this was good, but i've found something that works better for me now. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/31424/? Pounce n Dash jump height and speed changer. - it can activate both of its effects at the same time, and thus after a set amount of time via sprint i can let go of the sprint while still moving at my sprint speed, and be-able to have a boosted jump high while traveling at said speed. - i've admittedly used this in place of whirlwind sprinting threw certain traps in game' as the movement speed can be that much faster then standard sprinting or thre full three worlds of whirlwind sprint itself.saddening the the maximum time the effects can last for is 10 seconds at a time, but hey, its ussually only 5 seconds that i need to be able to go roof top hoping in riften' also the cooldown on the effect was a nice feature as during the cooldown phase, you take no fall damage. ..But if your falling from somewhere high up and the cooldown has already ended. expect to go splat' lol
it be neat to see this mod here tho get an upgrade to have similar features - and its work around around that 300 jump high cap like this one does, yes, you do kinda land on something invisible for a mili-second and continue to drop down if you jumped from a jump height setting of.. anything over 1000, but hey, thats a skyrim issue. -- just FYI, leave the mod at its default levels in the mcm menu for jump height and speed boosts -there set that way to prevent the aforementioned hiccup. though if you dont mind the paused cause from trying to break the game machanics then go nuts' as the levels stack. its set with 3 charge levels by default but there's also another mode that gives it 7 charges. --that there's a game crasher; but thats not due to the mod itself, its an issue with skyrim being unable to load faster then your character's current momentum. ---- were talking speeds that make the dovahkin move faster then sonic the hedgehog in his own game series' - i think folks who can run the game on ultra settings would need to be setting themselves on low if they wanted to be able to travel from riften to the reach on foot with pounce n dash's maxium speed values in action without crashing the game. -- tho its safe to say they could travel this distance in real time at a speed that's faster then faster travel's load screens. -- so yeah.. there's that.i went from winterhold to riften via the 7 level boosting in less then a min, but then crashed when my skyrim was forced to mass-spawn-load the all the npcs in riften... so yeah, maybe the mod author here can speak with stonedsquirrel about using aspects from pounce n dash to give this mod that "jump dash" feel to it when jumping from a sprint.
hell, if stonedsquirrel just added a scripted that forced the player's animations to appear as sprinting instead of walking while they move during the effects of the sprinter and jump boost, then frankly, it would be doing exactly what this mod here set out to do in the first place, with its own added effects. (flame, frost,shock and vampire bats are the other types of powers added to the sprinting and jumping on the pounce and dash. because who doesnt like to move leaving the same trail of damaging flames like a flame atronach while they sprint right? or to freeze or shock foes as you sprint past them, or simply to drain health from targets as you run by in a flurry of bats!)
I may be misunderstanding the point of the mod, but I was looking for something to allow me to jump WHILE sprinting resulting in a sprint-jump/boosted jump. I have tried your sprint jump mod, and the newer acrobat mod, and both cause me to jump only after I have released the sprint key. I run mods that modify sprinting ANIMATIONS, but nothing to my knowledge modifies the actual running action. Any thoughts?

I have downloaded that special sprinting but the animation replaces the animation wich means all NPC`s will run like this. So I needed to seperate my character (with costum race) from the game wich requirs the new idles. I think because of that the mod does not functiun... just suggesting
VWR crashes my game, I questioned it but it seems to have broken one of my saves. And now I can consistently reproduce the CTD just by trying to Sprint jump
