I love this, as well as your other mod with the knockback effect. I don't know if this is a possibility, but would you consider creating a version with no effect on the first word of the shout, stagger on the second word, and knockback on the third? Good work on both mods, and great idea.
It's hardly useless, if someone can hit me while I'm passing by at that speed then they should be the dragonborn because it's pretty hard to do. Also it's a great way to haul ass when a giant is trying to send you to the moon
As an archer I use the vanilla whirlwind shout all the time. Great for spacing without wasting stamina on sprinting. Cool mod idea for a dual-wield berserker type of class though.
Would be great for an archer as well, as the stagger could help you further in getting out of melee range. It's also a bit more realistic. Have you ever seen a car brushing past someone at a high speed? If the undertow didn't stagger them, the shocking speed combined with how close the car was certainly would.
Yeah I guess I always kinda thought that the game designers wanted to make this a gap closer. I would only ever use it to run away before these changes.
Wow. That's actually a nice idea. I think, it would be better, if 2nd level of shout applies some damage to enemies (like 40% of current weapon damage), and 3rd level acts like "Plus Cloak" version o_o
It'd be awesome if you could make it possible to swing your weapon mid-shout, like AkeenFreysAndracos said, adding something like 150-200% of weapon damage, as well as staggering or throwing the victim, depending on the weight of the weapon.
