The torch had the transparency on the whole torch top to bottom when only the top tip with flame needed to be. I fixed this by separating top tip and the bottom wooded part, so the torch no longer disappear when you stand right next to this mod's icicle. The torch was an important item in the game, so I fixed it. Please don't expect me to fix all Bethesda lazy mesh files.
The fireball spell in your hand has the heat simmering effect, and Bethesda added the refraction to that effect. The fireball spell patch will minimize the refraction merging to another refraction visual issue like the torch patch.

If you know how to use NifSkope, here's the image showing you how to change the fire intensity. Download the "Transparent and Refracting Icicle and Frost At and smoking torches compatible" file from IceKK mod page, and change the Scale value to 1.3.
I've a problem using semi-transparent atronhach meshes (love It). In my Skyrim It's invisibile and i can see only the ice Smoke effect. Other option works.
I don't use the ESP file. I used only meshes of It (i didn't found specific textures folder so i've installed a not enb textures only. Tried with slow ress textures too.
Probably I did something wrong. English Is not my language.
Your mod is incredibly good. I'm modding Skyrim from scratch again and I keep coming back for this, simply amazing attention to detail and truly visually pleasing :)
One of the Greatest mods ever. Adds a bunch of atmosphere and immersion to the northen cities of Skyrim. Never get tired of admiring the sight of these icicles refracting the light.
Does this change something in the texture of hand effect when holding frost spells? I've equipped the basic Frostbite spell and the "icy mist" effect on hand was constantly refreshing (which looks helluva wrong when it's not a perfect loop)...
Then again, gotta test it more, It might just be the thrice-cursed Helmet Toggle mod that's also causing helmets to flicker on and off each time you sheathe/unsheathe/equip any item...
Absolutely love your work skysan. You've made some fantastic mods and this is one of those, which I always install. There is one thing I've always wondered about the torches though. I like to use Ultimate HD Torch and this mod obviously but there doesn't seem to be a Ultimate HD + Refracting Icicle patch for New Thinner Torch. It seems there are only 2 separate patches for it but not a combined version so is there a way to make this work with New Thinner Torch AND Ultimate HD Torch?
Please read the reason from the sticky post above for why I stop giving the Thinner mod author my work. I have posted a way for you to add the Ultimate HD patch to one of two options I gave him.

Question: If I use DynDOLOD should I choose none on option 1 of the Main Installer page? and delete or disable the esp?
Then again, gotta test it more, It might just be the thrice-cursed Helmet Toggle mod that's also causing helmets to flicker on and off each time you sheathe/unsheathe/equip any item...
