Do door hinges, locks, etc. appear as though they are made of steel, dwarven, ebony, etc or is this just a novelty? I would be pretty sweet to have a Daedric lock that bites the hand of a would-be lockpicker lol.
They don't appear different, but it's not so much a novelty as it is a "Dang it, I have five thousand dwemer metal ingots and I can't make nails out of anything but iron? Lame."
No lie--I was just about to make this very mod. I did a quick search to make sure that nobody had already thought of it, and lo! There it was! You even renamed "Iron Fittings," which should have been done from Day 1.
Anyways. I just downloaded it; I'll let you know if it plays nice with my other mods (particularly, Complete Crafting Overhaul). Endorsement coming your way!
