The black version is really great, I play as a swordsman and it's seriously the only good looking sword in the entire game right now.
The black colour somehow hides the ugliest low-res elements all the swords seem to have while still looking tasteful and proper in general to the setting. Well done. I will use it even though it's worse stats-wise than my deadric sword.
Nice cause it is not just a mere sharpening and texture bloat but presents the art in a different look. The blade looks more mystical and mysterious as a result. THumbs up for the pack cause you offer options too.
@Bosmer63: No you just extract the textures and thats it. Mods that require a new game i would presume would be those that modify world parametars and quests (like new beggings mod, new race or such), but even then very few of them would really need a new game. You should be safe playing and adding mods on the go. Hope it helps
Looks pretty good. You should do the same for other Dwarven equipment, it all looks too new and shiny considering the Dwemer disappeared thousands of years ago.
By the way, do I need to start a new game for this mod to work? if not, what kind of mods require you to start a new game?
Great retex. Dwemer gear has always been my favorite. Whether or not it makes the sword look more ancient or not is debatable, but it certainly looks BETTER.
Unfortunately only way is using console and typing tfc since they changed cam controls. Really do hope they patch it back in, cause kinda doubt we'll be able to do it by mod.
Hey man, cool mod and I know what you mean about more authentic looking feel to weapons. It's why I refuse to use Daedric Sword and use retextures :p Btw, this is unrelated but how do you view your character from the side like that with their weapon drawn? Everytime I try with the mouse the character moves around and I don't get that angle. How did you get it? Thanks

we`re waiting for the retexture of the remaining dwarven weapons now aren`t we?
Preferably starting with the dagger.
