This is absolutely fantastic and exactly what I was looking for in a Necromancer house mod. Simple and effective, and in a nice location.
If I were to add anything, though, it would be one of those small sized bookshelves so that I may organize the Necromatic tomes that I wouldn't leave lying around or in any other place.
maybe a dark servant a la oblivion game ,you can send him out for 500 gold to bring back a body to the lair. as a necromancer i hate leaving my lab too much
that's such a good idea, some deformed psychopath loyal unto death and that you can boss around and mistreat. And then you give him some change for expenses and he'll bring you a corpse, no questions asked.
Hmm this sounds kind of cool. Imagine a Vampire Necromancer who can sire a Ghoul servant to fetch bodies for your experiments, the only problems is that Ghouls are corpse eaters so your bodies might have a bite or two taken out of them. On the other hand you can have a hidden pit/cage filled with Ghouls to dispose of your failed experiments or nosy adventurers/victims.
Maybe put in a set of Vaermina's robes, slightly enchanted? Just to give the place some extra pizazz, not that I hate the Necromancer aspect. A priest of hers might have set up shop, and you could add an illusion skillbook or enchantment, or a ghostly servant as well. Just a thought.
Looks nice and functional. Dispenses with the usual I'm evil lolz, and looks more like a workshop or a lab, which is what a necro should work with.
Could have a bit of a creepier atmosphere, how about some blue or green eerie lighting. Red is overused: dark brotherhood base or brothel.
How about adding some "suport" for Corpse Preparation mod, or other necromancy mods. Here's an idea I just had:
For instance, your lair could include a small tunel witha dead end with some rocks. Those rocks could be an activator that brings up a message, do you want to dig? Then you could roleplay with a messagebox that the player has dug until reaching an unused section of any of the major cities cemeteries (halls of the dead). That could give the player a lorefriendly supply of fresh corpses.
As to how the player knows where to dig, maybe you can have some maps and tomes strewn about the table, as if the previous occupant was anecromancer himself and was intending to do just that, and the player realizes this. I guess that would involve moving the lair closer to a main city, which isnt a bad isdea since it is underground after all.
Thank you for the ideas. I had the idea to add a small area full of spikes where people would fall and you would have an endless supply of corpses, but I like your idea too.

Impossible.
In the year 2019 people are still creating houses that use 5 loading screens and several kilometers worth of real state ...
