Will this let you create more than one Source Folder? Say I want to setup different source folders for the different Quests, Body Mods, adding clothes and armors to the different sources files (i.e. CBBE, UNP, Dream Girl, etc), then be able to load whichever Source Folder I want to at the time for a new play through? Will this replace what is already there or only add to the existing Skyrim/Data folder? Is there a way to revert back to vanilla or do you need to just delete the data folder and update local files via Steam? Just curious as to how this works. If this is what I think it is, It's a GREAT Idea. Thanks for your Hard Work.
It won't generate them all at once, but you can write as many different config files as you like. So if you write 7 config files for 7 different kinds of playthrough, then you just need to run the program with each config file, and you will get 7 different archives to load in.
If you want to have different mod profiles for you personal use, I think MO would probably be the tool you want. This tool isn't a replacement for mod organizers, its a tool that made for a creating scripted mod compliations. The idea is that you would use it to automate something that is tedious to do with a mod organizer, like delete specific files from a mod, or only include certain parts of a mod, ect.
And the mod data is packaged together into an archive, with the intent for the user to use a mod organizer like NMM or MO to install it. The mod organizer would be handle uninstalling and installing it then. Again, it isn't a replacement mod organizer, its a tool for creating scripted installs for specific mod packages.
Antivirus get nervous because the program makes a ton of system calls. It is not the best way to write this program, but it is how I ended up writing it. My own AV flags it for investigation, and then after a while, leaves it alone. The source code is available for download. Everything about it is transparent and open source. And just to be clear, its not a virus .
