Thank you so much for this mod! Small issue, bound daggers are noisy and use bound sword animation, got your mod after unofficial Dragonborn patch, which had fixed the issue. Merely cosmetic, don't consider a glowing weapon to be stealthy at all!
Congratulations you are the first modder to give a crap about the DLC changes to bound weapons. I applaud you. This is basically the same concept as Bound Weapons Mastery but with DLC support. Thank you for sharing this.
This mod definitely deserves at least one "Good job."
It rebalances Bound Weapons relative to smithing improvements without making usage independent of weapon skill. This is most sensible, in my opinion. To produce a very powerful weapon, you need ~100 skill in either smithing or conjuration. To use it, you still depend on weapon skill. Now, your are getting something "for free" in that this smithing-equivalent doesn't translate to the probable enchanting/alchemy boon you're getting from the 100% fortify smithing numbers added into the mix. But your conjuration skill doesn't offer the variety or the armor-improving benefits of your smithing skill, either; and bound weapons were not exactly balanced to steel weapons in vanilla, they're apparently supposed to have a little damage edge on physical ones. Plus I can make stronger than 100% fortify smithing potions, so I still see this as the best balanced of the various bound weapon rebalances I've read about.
Thanks, Banana125! Don't let your mod's apparent obscurity get you down, it's good.
Huh? The description is there. The Nexus servers just seem to be choking a bit on traffic, so you might have to click the "description" tab a few times (it'll load eventually). If it's just showing "E" and no other text, it's a Nexus issue. Unless you mean something in there was unclear/didn't make sense.
