I'm using AFT. And after i ask him to follow me i can't talk to him. No prompt to talk to him pops up or anything.
Edit: Found the problem. Jaxonz Real Names was renaming the hunter. And that somehow rendered him non-intractable. So i just had to disable the option that automatically name npcs.
Sorry, I haven't gotten around to checking if this happens in my game. (I've kinda been taking a break from Skyrim lately.) Thus, I don't know if there's anything to fix yet.
In the meantime, if hunters do turn hostile after sacrificing him, well... maybe word has gotten around about how he "disappeared".
I'm probably a bit late to the party with this but... This little mod was nice. Not having to break the game by having a generic NPC to sacrifice to get what is easily one of the best armors in the game was lovely.
Funny story: So, I haven't gotten around to starting Boethiah's quest yet, but I did get married. Some guy I'd never seen before was sitting in the front row of wedding guests. Naturally, I had to know who he was, so as soon as the ceremony ended, I ran up to him. Lo and behold, it was the Curious Hunter. My future sacrifice showed up as a guest at my wedding. Now I'm going to feel all guilty when I sacrifice him. Of course, he didn't give me a wedding gift, so...
You'll have to blame game mechanics for that bit of awkwardness. Followers have to be set as "friends" (or better) of the player character to work properly, and the wedding guests are always randomly-chosen friends (or better) of each spouse-to-be. NPCs that start out with that relationship (and don't have a quest or a fee to gain it, first) will always have a chance of showing up at your wedding, even if you haven't met them in game yet.
Huzzah! Another disposable little lamb for the taking! Really I'll probably just use him as a meat shield since Lydia died last night during a bandit raid. Thank you, sir.
Due to Nexus being fuckin' retarded I may not be able to endorse this mod but we'll see in a few hours.

Thanks for creating this mod!

Anyway, thanks for sharing that!
