Gonna upload a version with custom mesh and texture, but it may not work. Basically, can some people who know what the f*#@ they're doing install the new version and test if it works, and then post that here please? Coz it works on my PC, but not sure if i've packaged the right files, coz as I said I have no meshes experience. However, if it doesn't work, and you choose to download it, don't b&@*$ to me about it, because I have warned you it may not work, and that was your choice and your risk. Cheers

Instead of the Dawnguard symbol, I think it would be cool if the shield had the symbol for Dragonborn that's shown in Skyhaven Temple.

i downloaded the disenchantable version of the mod, however the spell can not be
added to any other shield or armor, if you can upgrade it or tell me a solution would be grateful, I put this shield effect on my paladin.

Dude, I'm liking this shield a lot! Just started a new game and I like the fact its light but gives you good protection. Especially like the protection from dragon attacks, only thing I would suggest is, maybe reduce the protection by 50% up to say level 30-35 then have it increase to 60% by level 50 and so on by a certain percent each time your able to upgrade it. not sure if your able to do that or not, but I think more users would think its not to OP if your able to upgrade the protection that way.

Oh, and endorsing for sure just for the idea alone.

      No problem
Are you waiting for a specific feature before you download, or were you just not at a PC?

I'm sorry to be the first one on this string, and I'm sure you've spent hours on this mod, personally, I know squat about modding.
That said, the desciption on the mod says, "The shield of Dovahkiin", as a mod user, I look at the titel and say, "wow, that must be an awsome shield".
The ability of the shield is no doubt awsome, I just wish, it had another look, other than looking like the normal "dawnguard" shield.
As said, I've no doubt you've spent a lotta time on this mod, and no doubt awsome mod, just my oppinion on it though. ;-)
Will track it and see if the look changes. :-)

Cheers for the comment, I was thinking that, but as of yet have no experience in creating custom models or textures, so I would either have to ask someone else to do it for me or learn how to do it. However, I am currently on my Christmas holidays, so should be able to do that by the end of December hopefully.

Hopefully later on today, if I get time, im uploading a custom retex of the heater shield (link above) as an optional file in order to sate the appetites of those wantimg a custom mesh. It's nowhere as advanced as I'd like, but it's the best I've got so far

For now, what do you think about using this texture for the shield?
    http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/5916/?

It's a modder's resource, so no need for me to wait for a reply?

My personal opinion? I don't think you should use that, respectfully. That isn't fitting to the world of Skyrim in my opinion.

If CaBaL can't make you a shield, maybe you can get a hold of the author of the Skyforge Shields. There are free resources everywhere on deviantART too - but make sure you make an account and ask the authors for permission just to be safe - just in case they have separate rules for that sort of thing. I use to spend a lot of time on deviantART, creating art. The only thing I know how to do is create custom things in Illustrator and Photoshop. I'm currently learning how to edit 3D models, and make my own, and create or edit textures for Skyrim. Eventually I'll learn it well enough and can make mods.

I was thinking, maybe, as a a temporary solution, editing the texture of one of the hold guard shields, to have a dragon decal on it, so its a plain, round shield that would still fit within the game's lore
