To bad there will be no updates.. If your like me and use followers, this place is not follower friendly... The hot tub is only ankle deep so it's more for looks than anything..
Any chance you'll be updating this further? I would love to be able to bring the adopted kids from Hearthfire into this home, it's much nicer than the one in Markath. Can you add some compatibility and extra beds?
Sorry this is an extremely late reply and sadly no I don't plan on working on this particular house anymore in the future. However I do plan on making several nicer more higher quality homes in the near future ( The next being a mage's home on a spire south of Windhelm which I am roughly two thirds done with and I'm using a lot of the feedback I got from this mod and using that towards my future projects such as people saying this home was too large and empty. In the next home I plan on keeping it on somewhat of a large scale however it will be much easier and faster to navigate than the Dwarven Sanctuary I released.) I will most likely use a different username when I go to upload this next mod because I do not like my current one but when it is uploaded I will post the link here in case anyone who enjoyed this mod would be interested to see how far i've come since then.
FINALLY!! Sorry for the capitalization but it took me nearly ages before i found a dwemer home that was just that, a home, without anything else and too small too. I wanted to use this mod to give all my custom npc's a place to stay at until i remember why i have created them in the first place XD (over 100 npc's lol!). nah just joking, i just want them around so that i can still use them as followers even if they haven't any current use.
Excellent home. I like your sense of architectural style especially with the statues, the fountains and the items that you have used to enhance the decor. I will use this as my personal home in Skyrim.
A few suggestions.
The most important thing I'd like to see are dwemer machines as guards. In particular, two large centurions guarding the front foyer and one on the bedroom door. Also the odd rolling guard or spider patrolling the halls.
Second, I think the bedroom needs a fireplace. Skyrim is pretty cold after all. I wouldn't use a conventional fireplace but something like a strip of burning coals on either side of the bed. I'd also prefer a four-poster with drapes, but that may just be a personal ideosyncracy.
Third, the Mournful Thrones are a bit annoying because camera becomes locked, while I like to see the vista wil sitting and rotate the camera around.
Fourth, I'd prefer it if the teleporters allowed you to go anywhere from anywhere. Right now the main hall has multiple teleporters to specific places and those places return you to the main hall. I'd also like to see the teleporters activated by a special ring so I don't get uninvited guests in my bedroom The ring might also be the master control device for the machine guards and is picked up when you loot the dwemer after defeating him.
Lastly, the storage in the smith area needs to be connected so that it can be used to supply the tools rather than have everything in my inventory. It would also be better if it was larger and near the working area rather than on the wall.
house looks cool, altough in the vid some parts are rather dark(but that can be because of the vid itself). gonna dowload this and give it a shot. p.s. you still update this right?
thanks yeah i don't know why the video is so dark compared to the actual thing his brightness may have just been very low I am still updating it I'm going to add in some teleporters to the other rooms from the main entrance because it is a large house. I am kind of running out of ideas on the house so any recommendations would help.
Thanks for taking the time to do that it also helped me notice something I messed up on i forgot to add a roof in the staircase for the master bedroom but you missed one thing, at the end of those stairs there's a door that leads to a throne over the waterfalls outside, but thank you a lot for making the video!

Nevertheless, an awesome effort.
