Whoa hahaha! Dude! This is a pretty rad freakin' mod!!! You implemented the voice files almost seamlessly into this thing, from what I saw and heard in the video it sounds quite fluid and natural. Why it hasn't gained more traction than it already has here on the Nexus is puzzling... :-/ I mean it's not a game changer, but it's still pretty damn cool! Anyway, thank you for taking the time to create this mod and a BIG THANKS for sharing with the rest of us! Downloaded and endorsed :-)

Having one for the Mace too would be fun too as long as it weren't every hit. Mephala might be a good candidate with the Ebony Blade in the same way. I bet she would want to be "there" with you to partake of the discord.
You could also do something similar with Meridia's Dawnbreaker & it's enchantment that does extra damage to the undead, which Meridia despises. Just another suggestion.
If I ever find the time for more modding I might try to do this for more of the daedric weapons. Before that though i've got a few other ideas i wanna try out depending on what's released in the new skse update.
Would the effect work on any weapon with the Mehrunes Razor enchantment? I'm using a mod that allows disenchanting of the deadric weapons and would love to have the effect on any sword
That all depends on how the disenchanting mod applies the effect. This mod only changes the razor's instant kill magic effect that the enchantment uses. In other words, if the disenchanting mod is made so that it still uses the magic effect from the vanilla game there should be no issue, but if it changes this there will be a conflict.
The best way to know for sure is to install my mod afterwards and load my .esp file below the disenchanting mod's esp. Create a test save and use the console to give you mehrunes' razor (player.additem 240d2 1). go to a enchanting table with an unchenchanted weapon, a soulgem and the razor then disenchant. Enchant the unenchanted weapon and put on god mode or something then keep swinging at npcs until you get an instant kill.
If you can't disenchant the razor or you don't hear the voice then you probably can't use them together.
I love this idea but it got old for me rather quickly hearing Dagon's laughter and comments after every single kill. I think it would be more appropriate to hear Dagon's feedback only when the Razor's ability causes an instant kill. Maybe an optional file?
That is exactly how the mod already works. I changed the kill chance to 100% in the video so that you could see the comments. When playing the chance is about 2% so you'll be hearing it 50 times less often than in the video.
Seems I've got some investigating to do then or maybe my luck is simply through the roof, heh. Great touch to one of my favorite items, this really enhances the feeling of wielding the Razor.
Oh my! My mind flows with daedric mischief at the possibilities. Reminds me of a mod for MORROWIND back in the day based on a character I believe from Baldur's Gate which was a talking sword. Then there are the excellent voice packs by Bruce Vayne.
