Ported and uploaded this to the SSE Nexus. I don't what happened with the original port, but I see no reason not to since this mod is open permissions.
I just thought I'd say I love this mod and I hope to see them all on SSE at some point. I know SKSE is not out yet(I'm never sure which mods require it and which don't), but it'll be awesome if this mod does surface on SSE at some point(even if it is awhile from now)!! It is just unsightly seeing the words fine or whatever beside weapons and armors.
Thanks for this. I actually avoided improving anything because those names are ridiculous. If you have a long name, the upgrade name makes it even longer.
I saved it in the 64-bit CK and it works just fine in SSE. Er, I mean it works +1. :p
Random question, and I know it's been so long since this was uploaded that it's not likely anyone will see this anytime soon ... But I'm wondering, is it possible to get higher than +6?
I ask this because I know the game itself does technically continue to grant tempering buffs beyond the six named quality tiers, but it just keeps calling them "Legendary". As an example, say I have two untempered Daedric Swords. I temper the first sword while wearing a couple of low-tier Fortify Smithing enchantments, and it's enough to get to the Legendary tier as long as I have the Daedric Smithing perk. But now if I drink a high power Smithing potion and throw on a couple stronger Fortify Smithing enchantments, then temper the second sword, it will actually have a higher attack power than the first, though it too will be called "Legendary".
Basically, my question is, will these both be called "+6" by this mod? Or will the former be +6, and the latter +7? I'm assuming they'll both be called +6, and I'm wondering, if this is indeed the case, is there a way to change that so they're differentiated properly?
Cheers!
EDIT: If anyone's interested, I checked for myself. The numbers will not go beyond +6, even though you can still get additional increases, as with the vanilla game. Anyone have any idea if it'd be possible to manually assign names to the higher levels (Legendary 2 = +7; Legendary 3 = +8; etc.)?
This mod is still a must have for any load order. Works really well with my Saber mods. I hated have my bada$$ lightsaber with a crappy 'fine' after it.
