A few things are different between what is posted here and what I have in my game: her name is rebecca the enchanter, there is no staff enchanting station, she is not a merchant, and when I went to use here it said her skill was 17 and there was no dual enchantments. I have all dlc, FCC mod, and I never took her out of the house. Maybe someone can help clarify what might be wrong?
Does this mod add enchantments from other mods? im using Perkus Maximus and i want to roleplay a true nord warrior without knowledge of magic, but i want some enchantments to not be forced to spam healing potions, and to perform decently lategame, in terms of damage.
I suspect so. If you have "learned" the enchantment you should be just fine. The NPC does not know them. You still have to un-enchant the item previously.
That is WAY beyond my skills to create. I placed this here as a WIP for that reason. In hopes that somebody might glom on and try to figure that part out. I know greater minds than mine have been trying that one for a bit now. Guess we will all just have to keep watching. This is just a pale workaround for the time being.
I was wondering if there was a mod like this on the Nexus--it's exactly the sort of thing I was looking for. Tracked and will be watching. I hope you find a mentor to help you progress with this mod.
Maybe BralorMarr could help? I don't know if they could/would, but they did something like this for smithing, actually, though I recall one of the issues they ran into is that they haven't yet been able to get the game to charge gold for tempering services, and I wonder if that same difficulty would apply here. (EDIT: Apparently BralorMarr also tried a similar approach to their smithing mod with alchemy and enchanting, but didn't like the results, and that's why it's just a smithing mod. Derp. Maybe you two can think of something if you put your heads together, though.)
Doesn't seem to let you add 2 Enchantments, will only allow one enchantment and the very basic one (Weaker than regular armor you find around), doesn't matter which Gem you use.
Yeah. I just tested with a level 1 guy and he was not getting the max either. Well, like I said it is a WIP. But I was still able to add 2 enchantments. Are you sure they enchantments were compatible with the object?
