I just tried this with Frostfall v2.6, seems to work just fine. Although all I did was create a new game with DLCs, Unofficial Patches, SkyUI, Live Another Life, Frostfall v2.6, and this mod installed, Fast Traveled around to all the cities, tried it during the night and a few different weathers. It seems to work just fine, but I have never really had a play-threw with it. The summer edition has never fully worked right due the some areas always being considered cold which must be governed by a setting or script which I don't know where it's located to. All this mod does is change the regions spell effects from what they are in base Frostfall to the coldest spell effect for each region. The weather plays an effect on how cold it is also, but I have never seen it be warmer then chilly, then again as stated above I haven't had a play threw with this mod installed. Maybe if you ask Chesko VERY nicely if he would add a toggle in the MCM in the next update, to make every region cold, like what Isoku did with Wet and Cold.
Will not work with FF 3.0 because 3.0 is built on a different framework than past editions. Give up all hope ye who enter here. Or go ask in the forum if someone can develop a patch/new mod in the appropriate section.
Okay, installed this (Summer Edition). It works for a little while, then when I get to mountains it snows and the weather system goes back to being cold. This sucks! Almost not worth using.
The author made the Summer Edition update for you and said it hadn't been tested. But anyway just what were you expecting up a mountain while it's snowing?? One has to wonder why you bothered with Frostfall in the first place.
Try out Skyrim Winter Overhaul its NMM friendly and it does more than just add snow to skyrim it makes Skyrim feel like its actually winter not just a frozen landscape. It makes trees look dead and it adds snowy textures to buildings, living trees, roads, and alot more. Here is a link http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/61711/?
