    Sticky
    EDIT: Feb 1st 2014
I am discontinuing support for this mod.

I am very sorry to everyone who enjoys this patch but the program I used to create is a program I no longer wish to use.

I will leave it up, and answer questions if you ask, but no further update for this will ever be available.

I would say take a break and then try to find a way to hang in there. Sorry to see you go.

Also, have you tried over at the STEP forum? There may be someone who could help. There is a pretty good little Requiem following over there.

I am sorry to see this mod end.
I am shocked people who made such a highly used program would be so rude. Actually no I am not. Arrogant bastards.
I hope things go better for you, and good luck in your future endeavors.

There is one tiny thing that has been bugging me since i installed this patch...

Requiem names all bandits "bandit", all draugr "draugr", all falmer "falmer", etc. No more "bandit chiefs", "deathlords", "shadowmasters", etc.
OBIS, on the other hand names all bandits to give a rather accurate description of their role: bandit/reaver warrior/archer/mage of the hammer/mountain/lighting wolf/vohkman.

So in this patch, would it be better to go the Requiem way and call them all bandits to keep your character from having supernatural senses and guessing things he shouldn't know, or is it better to use the OBIS naming system to give you a better idea of what you're up against?

Honestly I think this is up to the mod author, but personally i prefer the Requiem names because they force the player to examine your opponents before the fight rather than instantly knowing everything even without line of sight.

And how does your character know their health bar

I actually considered doing this, but changed my mind at the last second. The next patch will either include this, or have it as separate option. ^_^ I personally play also using Skyrim Immersive Creatures with the Requiem patch, and it does the same thing this one does, adding in huge variety to names.

I PERSONALLY use iHUD to remove my enemy health bar anyways, so I don't even see names until after the enemies die!

I mostly left the names in, because OBIS focuses so much on the different 'clans' and just renaming them ALL bandit would make this feel less special.

Normally people can't take 20 smashes on the head with a mace either

Is there a good way to test this is actually working? I don't think I've ever encountered a named OBIS bandit. I have a bashed patch.

I've returned to Skyrim after more than a year away, just managed to get all these great mods compatible... but now I'll have to delay my new play-through just for your patch update!

You have our support brave modder!

I just have one request... Could you possibly remove reavers from mainland Skyrim?

OBIS makes reavers appear in mainland Skyrim.
Azirok's Requiem - Dragonborn patch makes most reavers level 50+
Level 50+ reaver mages casting icestorm in Bleak Falls Barrow or one of the SIlver Hand forts can make one's life quite difficult.

Ten can you not use obisdb? The only thing that does ATM is add reavers

I'm not making any edits to the original mod, just patching it for requiem, you will want to take that up with the author of OBIS, not me! ^_^ The dragonborn patch does edit the reavers so they are less overpowered, and more balanced for requiem, maybe in the next update I can nerf them a tiny bit more? I've been playing for about 70 hours with this patch enabled, and never encountered an incredibly overpowered bandit!

I've been pretty busy through the holidays, and then I got pretty sick, so I've been kind of out of commission for a while, but I will pick back up work on this patch and then patch for Skyrim Redone and Requiem here soon.

I didn't expect this to become one of my most endorsed mods so quickly, especially in it's unfinished state! Thank you for the support everyone! ^_^

It's probably because OBIS is amazing and what you did was pretty amazing as well

I don't use NMM, so I have no idea how to actively support a mod for it, this mod requires a somewhat specific installation process right now, the esp must replace the OBIS one, and I have no idea if NMM will do that correctly.

I did a quick playthrougth with the mod. The OBIS bandit are stronger than without the mod. But i have the same problem as before with the items. The OBIS bandits have more money and powerful spell books. I use the Hard Time patch by azirok placed after OBIS. So maybe a small suggestion ,to have the item distribution more to the feel of Requiem, if it is possible of course. Anyway much better experience overall with this patch than without it.

I toughened some up, but weakened a few of them as well! ^_^

For the most part I tried to give them requiem loot, they are a bit higher level bandits then requiem, so it's possible it's just a bit higher level loot? ALso, I personally run it with the hard times patch placed much higher up my L/O and it seems to work fine, I get no funny loot, on average bandits have like, 20 gold and I have found maybe two spell books worth more then 100 gold in my entire most recent play-through(at level 11 now), and neither of them were in bandit loot XD

I'll look into it though. ^_^

I will try place it after Hard Times then and test it.
I will also run my Batched Patch this time, maybe that will <<fix>> it.
      Thanks for the reply.

The Bashed Patch is going to make a big difference to what you will find. You really need to have that updated and active to make a judgement.

I did a quick playthrough with this mod again. This time i run the Bashed Patch and the item distribution seems fine.
      Also OBIS 1.6B is up!
