A small word before you comment: This mod has been around for a really long time and I've seen a lot of drama and social shaming regarding the topic of female armor in fantasy. From calling out people for liking practical/unisex armor as virtue signaling to shaming people for liking bikini armors and calling them perverts. It unfortunately seems to come with the territory of mods like this and I'm tired of seeing it. As much as I would like to escape it, I cannot; it's all part of the greater culture war that plays out in online discussion about female anything nowadays. In addition, often there are discussions of realism in fantasy and the historical plausibility of boobplate that often gets dragged into the picture as well. History isn't clear cut sometimes and questions of "historical-ness" or "realistic-ness" of an innately fantasy item are destined to lead to meaningless debate. There is a place for that now on Nexus Mods and that's the "Debates" section on the Nexus Mods Forums. I however am tired of seeing it. I'm a mod author, not a moderator and at times it is tempting to just lock down this comments section and silence it all like others have or leave modding altogether. But I don't believe in that. I like to mod and it is against my principles to silence others since I believe in letting people have the space to communicate. But it is also my responsibility managing this page to reduce the harm it causes to others as much as I can. In any case, keep in mind a phrase that I learned from a friend before commenting "Your Skyrim, My Skyrim." This is just a mod and your Skyrim game is your Skyrim game. Other people's Skyrim game is theirs. Live and let live. Your voice is like the Thu'um. It is powerful and can hurt others, sometimes in ways you cannot foresee. Comment responsibly and always keep in mind, we're all here to have fun first. It would be a shame to hurt others over something that's supposed to bring joy.

Seriously though, this mod is fantastic. These armours look so much better than the vanilla ones. And don't get me wrong; I love sexy costume design in my games as much as the next gal, but 'boobplate' has always looked silly to me.
ngl I kinda want to see a "reverse" version of this mod. One that gives the male vampire armor a boob window; that sort of thing. Give us gender equality for both practical and sexy nonsensical versions!
I mean, to some degree, armor can likely be embellished to emphasize feminine characteristics for sure. Sorta like how wealthy Roman officers might be able to obtain cuirasses which were decorated with abs and bulging pecs, I'm sure societies which allowed or encouraged women to fight would no doubt be host to armorsmiths that would be willing to create wonderful sets of armor that emphasized feminine characteristics - though the Imperials IMO would no doubt have a more standardized approach and I can see them having armor sets that are very adjustable and one-size-fits-all. Just my two thoughts.
I do like this mod - I remember getting a 'more practical female armor' mod maybe ten or so years ago, and apparently this one modifies the armor so it fits female bodies better, which is pretty good.
As a female player who is also attracted to females, THANK YOU. It's shocking how many people are complaining about how "unrealistic" this is compared to the armor mods that look like fancy bikinis. Some people just don't like armor that accentuates sexual body parts and some people like armor that does! It doesn't have to be a battle, and yet here they are, trying to defend their tits and ass as if this is a personal attack on them.
Amen. I really don't get it. I don't go to all the big anime tiddie mods and tell the modders/downloaders they are being "unrealistic." Wouldn't make my game more enjoyable, but if it's going to improve your experience, I have nothing against it.
cool mod, only 1 thing sad - no iron and improved iron armors deboobed) for leather armor (or for soft sexy armors from mod like latex or bikini) its actually reslistic and logic to be with boobplate or bra(bcs they soft and fit body), but for all metall armors its logical to have gender-equaly chest plate,especially when you swap armor from male to female as loot. Will be great if iron armors will affected by this mod as well (they still have boob plate for females, unrealistical and unlogical)
Wish we got this mentality more often. In many other games I play, they make a completely SEPARATE, reduced, underwhelming appearance for female variants on the same armour items. Males get the hulking knight armour (hence the item being called something of the liking) and then the women get tits and fishnets-- on the same item. Doesn't make sense, doesn't make me feel comfortable-- despite being male myself.

Never thought that boobplate fitted well with Skyrim's flinty aesthetic, this mod fixes that with practical armour that still looks fantastical and cool. Based and steelpilled.
Would this mod work for something like aMidianBorn Content addon? It adds glass, wolf, elven etc armor variations, would those retain the original female mesh or would they use those found in Practical Female Armors?
