This contains no "dirty edits". All of the edits I've made are incredibly small and are probably detected as "dirty" by whatever software you're using.
I do not guarantee compatibility with other mods. If a mod uses items like ruined books or whatever, that's your issue - not mine.

I got bored and found out it's not too hard to tweak this mod to your own liking in Creation Kit. I was also still annoyed by Linen Wrap and Embalming Tools being lootable. Something to note about this mod, it basically just removes the items "name" so if you already had, for example, 20 Linen Wraps in your inventory, they would still be their taking up carrying space. Just need to make sure you have no clutter in your inventory being adding this mod.
I just wanted to tell you, this mod made me feel so relieved. I was getting so hung up picking up every random piece of crap and now I can finally relax. So far the mod is working as intended for me and I didn't notice anything odd. Endorsed!
I love this idea; you said they are not "truly" static, is it hard to make it truly static? To me, all those misc items are just for decoration, and being able to bump into them and send them flying all over the place is really annoying.
