Thanks for this. Makes a zero-fast-travel play-through much more bearable.

I know it's unlikely as this is several years old. But is there any chance of making this compatible with expanded towns and cities?

    Thanks.

It took me a bit to find exactly where the room at the top was, its in the courtyard labeled 'high hrothgar temple' for anyone else who was wondering, but overall this mod is very nice for anyone who prefers not using fast travel. I have a player home up there (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/49417/?), though I mainly use it for storage and a place for followers to live, it's nice to not have to fast travel or make the trip up the steps every time I want to get up there. Nice mod, endorsed!

I wanted to use this because I turned off the fast travel too, but it doesn't work with Expanded Towns and Cities.

This mod is great for killing the travel time up those stairs, Now I just have...two questions/suggestions.

I have the expanded towns and cites / Immersive Settlements merged mod made by missjennabee and pymous, and I noticed a 'wee' problem with where your cave entrance is placed. It's over lapping with some stuff and it's awful to look at. Now the most simple solution is put the cave somewhere else, but... there is another cave that might be redone. It's the one right across the bridge to 7k steps and if you turn to your right there a bear with dead hunter and cave called Pinepeak Cavern.

second question/suggestion, making the entrance a hidden door. Cause if everyone can find it... it's purely a immersive reason. Cause you gotta hide from the Thalmor and you don't want these guys to bother the Graybeard right?

Just a couple thoughts I think would be a good idea for future modding you might want later. again, love your mod!

I have this problem with ETAC too, and would love an update as well.

But considering that the last update is almost 2 years old, I doubt the author still even checks up this page, so doh, I guess. Still - endorsing it, because I love the idea. Though personally I think that the best place for the entrance would be somewhere at the 7k steps road, to the left of the 1st etched tabled. This cell is rarely ever edited by mods. Yes, a hidden entrance would be awesome.

Well, it may sound obvious, but you can just ignore all that stuff you wouldn't use. Like after entering the cave you don't look around and just head straight for the teleport.

It's a good house, btw. I can imagine some of my characters living there - especially now with ETAC phasing out player homes support. I personally think Ivarstead is an awesome place to live if you like serenity and seclusion, my assassin character used to live there.

Hello Makaro -- This seems PERFECT for what I need. Currently doing an LP (with no fast traveling), and I have a particular mod that will act as HQ for my Redguard Werewolf Dragon Slaying Dragonborn lol. This will hopefully allow me to use the entire area (HH, Ivarstead, and the Mod I'm referring too) for my followers to act as a home.

=] I will be activating this mod when the time comes in my LP, when that happens I shall let you know of my results and my reaction -- but it seems to be perfect!

I hope you keep modding as the pictures look very well made.

awesome mod. What would be cool is if you did a mini quest where after you first talk to the Greybeards, they tell you they made a portal at the base of the Mountain to save you (the dragonborn) the need to walk up and down the stairs all the time. They point out the key and where the portal is at.

If I had the faintest idea on how to mod a quest line... I would certainly have done this. My knowledge is very limited with modding I'm afraid.

how about just put in key player inventory?

after fetch the horn, learn fus ro dah and greybeard said "High Hrothgar is now open to you" right? then you got the key.
of course for this..you need to climb mountain at least twice...

it's just opinion...I'm always waiting like this mod! endorse.

      sorry for my eng.

Like I said... If I knew how to do pretty much anything, I would do it. Anyone is totally free to do with it as they will though.

This looks interesting, is any of this follower friendly (the teleportation and home)?

I really just threw this together. It is Nav-Meshed to the best of my (little) ability, and from my experience, my followers follow me in and out just fine. I imagine if you use a mod that allows you to set custom follower homes that should work as well.
