Just curious, are all the bugs (no pun intended) happening to everyone or just a few people? Also, is anyone planning on porting this? Kinda want to be a Chaurusmancer in SE/AE so I can wreak havoc in the glorious name of old man Sheo XD
I experienced a bug with this, no pun intended. I went through the quest, all the way through to getting the extractor and defeating the queen. However, after activating the queen and getting the staff, the pheromone effects...weren't there? All the Chaurus still attacked me, even the ones I summoned with the staff.
This is such an underrated little mod. From the concept, to it's execution, and that trailer! It's so pretty it's sad. Those little chaurus need some more masters all around Skyrim! I'd really like someone like MxR or perhaps even Brodual take a glance at this and make a little footnote on it. You deserve some more attention, mate. :D
I absolutely loved the antlion part in half-life 2, where you threw the pheromones at the enemies and then they got rekt by a bunch of bugs Totally awesome to see a similar feature in Skyrim now, thanks to you Endorsed
I've got a bug I found. So I summoned the deadly little kids as always, and fought people... as always. I load up a cell with them not around, however, and... this is where it got messy. I found that I couldn't summon any more nymphs, and it wasn't long until I realized that they were technically still alive. I can't remember which cell they were in, so I can't summon any more Chaurus without changing the max count. And I really don't wanna do that in case I run into the cell I lost them in.
Just finished off the Chaurus Queen, no problems with that! But now, a silly question!
I was just taking down the flood of Falmer at the end, and went to go to the duel boss fight with the Falmer and Centurion. Unfortunately, the Centurion has apparently crashed into the doorframe and sealed it shut. How is a dragonborn to fix this problem? Is there a new doorway into that room from the Queen's chamber after that, or a way to break the door down with a shout? :S This is especially annoying as the Shaman's still able to shoot lightning from the closed door... somehow... and wreck my face. The dick.
Otherwise, this goes up with Blackreach Railroad, Lilith's Tools and Undeath as one of the better small quests I've enjoyed playing. Charus are easily one of my favorite looking baddies in the game and it's cool that I can now rule over a small horde of em!
EDIT: I'm an idiot that should have just went back. Dang adventurers and the one-tracked mind of going forward! Now I really saw the awesome part of this questline by doing that!
By the way, nice touch with the Centurion at the end. Classy.
i wonder what happen to the chaurus queen after it jumped infront of you leaving the cave. only if you could befriend the chaurus queen and have it help you
Hi I am having some problems with the quest-part of the mod. I went into Shimmermist cave and killed the queen without having started the quest. I have also picked up the pheromoneextractor from the corpse, but when I try to activate the queen, nothing happens. Also, the canister does not appear in my inventory ^^; I tried reloading an earlier svae, left the cave an went to Whiterun. But after waiting about 2 days there is still no sign of the curiour :/ (I am lvl 42 atm) I have tried uninstalling the mod, then making a clean save, then re-installing the mod, but still no sign of him. I am using skyrim mod organizer, the mod is at the very bottom of my loadlist, and it gives no compatebillity-warnings.
Am I just doing something wrong? ^^;
Maybe if possible, you could write the console steps for the quest and I could try forcing it to start that way?
Omg if my skyrim wasn't almost fully modded I would download this. This just looks amazing, fun, and awesome right down to the lore behind it! Also that tidbit in the description about being their mommy >.< omg that almost broke my heat to think someone attacking them when they think this D: Absolutely two thumbs up, especially for making me feel for what normally is a disgusting and grotesque monster! Bravo sir, bravo
