This mod does already work fine on Skyrim SE.
However, for convenience, I have ported it to the Skyrim SE Nexus, you can find it here : Detailing the Eldrich - Higher-Res Riekling Architecture

Right click "Detailing the Eldrich - Higher-Res Riekling Architecture" then press "Set Data Directory". Then untick the "Readme" and "Before After pics", then "Set Data Directory" again to Data.

If anybody is *still* struggling with MO2 I suggest checking out GamerPoets mod guides on youtube.

I did. I looked at everything this mod changes in-game in Skyrim Special Edition, except the blue riekling clutter flag. I could not find it, but I am sure that it works. No issues noticed.

I took screenshots comparing vanilla and this mod in Skyrim Special Edition, but they got lost. But I do have the save files for the images.

      Save files.

Anyone is free to use the save files and images taken at the save files' location however they wish.

Can't retextures simply be ported by anyone?

I haven't had an issue with this mod yet in SSE. It works fine!

These are just textures. If there were any .nif files included, you would have to run them through the SSE NIF Optimizer(https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4089/) and that's it. These're perfectly safe and fine to use!

There are some texture compression formats that work in Oldrim that SE cannot deal with. r5g6b5 is one of them; you will crash to desktop. So not ALL Oldrim texture mods will work in SE. Not saying this mod uses that format, I don't know. Just trying to prevent any misinformation.

I wonder what the difference between the "higher res" and the "lower res" version may be...

How and why do your mods not have more endorsements?!?!?!?!
I don't think there's anything similar on the Nexus...-_-

Ha, thanks for the kind words! I guess I'd have more endorsements if I made sexy companion mods, ha. (Kidding, but not really...) Anyway, glad you enjoy the retextures!
