   I have checked every where for the note or book in the four shields tavern. Where is it? Also since many people are having trouble with the quest can you make a walk through in the Readme and hide it with spoiler block thing, it will save you from answering the same question a million times.

      The issue is that you made the item to get to the next objective of the quest super hard to find, because it is in an unusual spot.

      Yes, this mod doesn't edit the properties of vampires. So as far as I know is it perfectly compatible with better vampires.
