The mod bugs out the funeral in the companions quest, but because this mod is minor to gameplay you can just uninstall and re install before and after the quest. still cool mod though
This mod is probably not that useful really, because you're not really in Whiterun all of the time. But you don't understand how frustrating it was to constantly go back and forth to Warmadens and the Skyforge when doing the Companion's quests. So I appreciate this mod to have been created!
There is a bug at the (SPOILERS) funeral of you-know-who, like cocapeter said below, but all in order great mod! Deserves my Endorsement!
There is actually an "update" of this mod I created, it is better made and it fixes the bug with the funeral! It can be found here: http://bit.ly/1Xdo1jE
This mod has 4 ITMs and 3 Deleted references that should be set to Initially Disabled instead (using xEdit). The Quest breaker must be the deleted C06FuneralTriggerREF . I wonder if simply removing that entry from "SkyForge Upgraded" (so that the Vanilla Skyrim entry is restored) would fix the problem? perhaps somebody could test this. Otherwise it would have to be repositioned.
Apparently it does. It appears that if all the actors can't stand in their assigned spots during the funeral, the quest won't trigger. However, all I needed to do (my save was actually at the trigger point at skyforge) was quit to desktop, disable the plugin, relaunch through skse. If, like me, you are saved at the skyforge, that's ok, just fast travel back to whiterun or the keep and walk back to the skyforge. it will resume as normal. Just to be safe, I waited until after I finished the quests, and was appointed Harbinger before re-enabling it. Worked a treat. Even the setstage C06 1 didn't work while I had the plugin active.
Mostly compatible with Open Cities. The tanning rack has disappeared and the smelter and workbench have moved a bit after installing Open Cities, but nothing that really bothers me.
I would really like to see a patch for Open Cities, though, so the mod functions as intended by the author even with Open Cities installed.
As for the question if it interfere with the companions quest YES tending the flames is stuck everybody just stands there ... no funeral. If I disable it and load a save earlier no problem ... I know for sure it's the mod, because I tried the same save before and nothing.
Sorry... I'm one of those that aren't to lazy, but I always wanted to though. TYVM for the mod! Don't know why this stuff wasn't here to begin with since there is all that room in supposedly the best forge in the game? Again ty foe the upload.
So true its not so much the lazy part, not like I haven't played this game enough times, but when it comes to lore it makes no sense that such a capable smith would not have the required equipment near them to get the job done without having to ask others.
I installed the version of this mod with the chopping block and not only is there a tanning rack added to Skyforge but there is also a tanning rack on the roof of Jorrvaskr (the adjacent building).
Hey, just want to say I LOVE THE HELL OUT OF THIS MOD! But.. there seems to be a problem with a duplicate forge. Like, there are two Skyforge entities, both placed in the same spot, with the same size, and the same rotation. It's not affecting the function of anything, but it's something to look at. It looks kind of weird when I'm using the Skyforge because the bellows handle looks like I'm stretching it, not pulling it. and the pulleys flicker between textures when Eorlund is using it.

I wish it were compatible with the open cities mod :(
