The menu is a little bit buggy if you have more than one level to level up. Cant decide what to take with the keyboard 'cause it goes crazy, have to use the mouse but that's justa minor issue, love the mod thanks ^.^
I have the exact same problem. Like you said it isn't exactly an issue, you can just go out and in and pick again, but it would be nice if it got fixed :)
Hi Sagittarius22, This mod is very cool, would you ever consider making a hardcore version that requires you to spend money at a trainer to level up in order to receive your perk point? Would be a super immersive game changer, it's something I've been looking for, this mod is the closest thing I have seen on the Nexus.
is this mod still supported ? my idea goes beyond your mod, but i have no idea about creation kit. so please, if you like it, do it.
1. you have to sleep to Level up (that is classic tes)
2. after Level up you can spend your 10 Points for health, stamina or magicka, but you can not spend your perk point
3. you have to go to a Trainer, pay like the Training cost and then you are able to spend your perk Point in that Trainers perktree. note that this is a different dialogue then the one for the normal Training. it sounds like that : i want to use my perks to learn a new skill in restoration. it is necessary to reduce the costs (compared to vanilla Training) from 51 to 75 from x3 to x2, and from 75 to 99 from x5 to x3, the 100 perk costs x5. master Trainers offers up to 100.
there is an advanced Version, an addon. the addon of this offers one more dialogue like i want to learn a special skill in restoration. with that he can learn a Special perk of that Trainers perktree with a perkpoint or , if he has none, without a perk Point. so this advanced version allows the Player to get all 256 perks. Basic perks are all perks at the bottom of the trees and the apprecntice, Adept, expert, master titled perks, so always 5 per tree except smithing , which has only steel as Basic perk. the Special skill he gets is a non - Basic perk. as you know, Special perks must get available by Basic perk before, plus he must have spend all his Basic Points before he get one Special perk for free - not free, because there are still the costs.
i Play the game this way and it is really great like a classic game. i improvise the Content of the mod, but i am very sure that it is worth to make it a real mod, available for everybody.
I personally like your first two points; it bugs me that mid-combat I can pause, level up and have full health. I don't know a thing about modding, but what if you needed the well rested buff to apply stat boosts? Or even just preventing leveling from increasing the minimum values of those stats when you allocate stat points?
love this mod, but i also play characters who "meditate" instead of sleeping, a monk is there a way one could edit this themselves to allow waiting to give the points too? or is there another mod that does this?
