great mod; my only problem with it is that it doesn't seem to work for elf races; i've tried male & female altmer, bosmer & dunmer and the circlets don't display for some reason.
i don't think it's a compatibility issue with another mod i have as i've disabled all the character mesh/texture ones to test it and it's still happening

Will this work on Skyrim Special Edition? I like the look of the vanilla circlets. "Circlets for the Win" do not display on my Wood Elf character.

Awesome mod! I know that many armor modders add invisible Light/Heavy helmets to their armors to allow for a full set but this mod allows me to actually have something visible that adds armor value and allows me to have a full set. Thanks for the upload!

This is the Diadem of the Savant, the only vanilla light armoured circlet in the game (http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Diadem_of_the_Savant)
I use it on almost every char.

I'm sorry if this is supposed to be common knowledge, but do I have to download the original and then the optional? Or is the optional a standalone?

Slight problem with the download links it says the upgrade version is 2.2 but is only downloading 2.1 is that meant to be or not because my mod manager keeps wanting me to update but there is no update.

So I have v2.1... And I'm a total noob on modding, I just use mods, I don't create... So please don't make fun of me if I ask, what SkyProc is? Shouldn't Armored Circlets - Upgradable be moved to "Optional Files", or should I download it too even if I have no clue what SkyProc is?!

Sorry for my ignorance, I can draw pretty well on a paper using a pencil, but I've never modeled anything using a PC :/

SkyProc is a program that is used to create dynamic mods, such as SkyRe, ASIS, Lootification etc. If you aren't using anything like that, you don't have to worry about this at all. There were some errors in the upgradable version that could have caused problems with SkyProc, I just fixed those.

In either case, you don't have to download the upgradable version if you don't want to, just use the standard non-upgradable version.

Thanks for the upgrade, and especially the tempering: my higher-level characters were previously abandoning the circlets because they could easily craft better headgear!

The tempering optional has actually been around for a while - though we didn't bump the version number, so I guess some early adopters missed it!

I really like this mod, including the names of the circlets. It's become a natural part of the game for me.

I was wondering about the matching set light armor perk though. I'm using "Triss armor retextured" studded leather version -- does this mean I can only use the circlets under leather for the matching set bonus?

Holy crap-on-a-stick. I've been looking for this very mod for AGES! No longer must I choose between a sexy character or a slew of armor bonuses.

    FUCK. YEA.
