i just want to let you know i am happy with this mod, and it became very use full to my charcter and the only thing this mod needs is more storge chest, two by the cooking area another four the weapons and armor but above all else its a good mod, i enjoying this alot
Thank you and glad you like it. I will look at maybe having a version with more storage. Won't be doing much if any modding after that as I just got all 3 DLC and am looking forward to trying them out soon.
Just uploaded it a second ago. Had to test it and make sure it all worked and almost forgot to change the navmesh around the new chests. You should have plenty of storage with the new version now.
Hey friend! If you're looking for more/perfectly placed storage, I HIGHLY recommend Zaria's Container mod ( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/10045 ). It lets you craft all kinds of containers, and place them wherever you want them to be! Once the container is placed to your liking, a menu pops up. One of the options is SNEAK. When selected, the container ACTS EXACTLY LIKE A VANILLA CONTAINER. Exactly. It's so AWESOME, I can just PUT containers whereEVER I want them! (If you want to re-access that menu, you just activate the container while crouching/sneaking. So cleanly designed)
Basically, this mod was the answer to ALL my storage dreams, and I wanted to pass it along. <3 Enjoy!
I don't mean to be mean but the imbuing chamber doesn't seem to work, there is no imbuing switch on the front of it so I cannot even use it. Just thought you should know, other than that it's an awesome mod.
Thank you. You are not being mean. If something doesn't work there is nothing wrong with telling the mod creator about it. I will take a look and see if it works for me and if not will try and fix it.
Yeah you are right it is missing a switch. I've never used the imbuing chamber before so I didn't know lol. I will look at figuring it out on of these days.
I know you can't really change this now, but did it ever occur to you to have a single house that you can access from both locations instead of just replicating the same location and having shared storage?
-Not trying to be mean, apparently I come across that way sometimes sorry if I did-
I tried to do that originally but wasn't sure how to do so with only a single entrance. I wanted to use two exterior doors both linking to the 1 interior door but the CK would not allow that. Then once inside you have the problem of which exterior would the interior door open. Door A or Door B?
One solution I thought of was to have two doors in sort of a mirrored fashion where Door A would always link to Skyrim and Door B would always link to Solstheim but that seemed a little unrealistic being able to enter the home in one place but exit to somewhere else.
The only other way to maybe do so might be with scripts. I am not sure if it could be done in such a way? Even if it could I didn't want to use scripts or have the knowledge to do so. So the solution was simple. Use what I know works lol.
Edit:
I forgot to ask. Is there a simpler method that I am not aware of? If so I would love to know about it. I am going to do some searching because now you have me thinking there might be and that would save me a lot of work if I ever create something similar.
Why not just have a front door lead to one zone, a back door lead to the other? Home in zone A) would have it's backdoor say something like "Magically sealed" and only be able to enter though front, and zone B) would have it's front door sealed?
Yes I think I see what you are saying and if I create a similar mod I will try it....but I am done modding for a while now as I just got the DLC"s and want to try them out.
I am working on yet another house mod but this time with a shared interior instead of two almost identical interiors. Also this one will be adoption friendly.
It's the anglicized form of Myrkviðr. It was mentioned twice in the Prose Edda, can't remember which poems I read it in though. You should have a read at the Prose Edda or the Elder Edda, Tolkien lifts a number of names straight out of it. Which is fair enough since he did do a translation of the poems and greatly expanded one of them.
In the ReadMe.txt included in the zip file I think it says Dawnguard as a requirement when it should say Dragonborn. I think it is obvious this requires Dragonborn not Dawnguard since one home is located in Solstheim.
