My character is starting out here and wanted to download this. Sadly, it's not on SE, and the whole unpacking and repacking thing is always too stressful for me. Still, I wanted to tell you that this mod is wonderful. I love what you did with the whole place, and thank you so much for sharing it. <3
Hey I know it's been a while but just in case someone else sees this and it helps them I'm going to reply anyways.
This is a simple .esp file only mod, no new assets or anything, so all you have to do is load this into the Skyrim SE Creation Kit through the Bethesda.net Launcher and then save it. That will update all of the record form versions automatically and then you can use it just fine in Skyrim SE.
Looks nice, just what I want. I'll have to give it a whirl in SE and see how it plays out.
Works fine. Saved the plugin in the 64 bit CK, unpacked the BSA, deleted the rain script (it's still present in the no rain version), repacked in the new BSA format. Everything seems to work as intended. This is a great mod to add some time after the Anise encounter, to imagine your character worked on it.
Is the thing in the cellar supposed to be aggressive? My followers didn't seem to care for it. I reloaded and went down there alone, but it was gone for some reason. Felt a little bad.
I like this mod quite much. Anise's cabin was my first player home. But what does mean the message "Morality drained - the price of my aid"? I don't want any unwanted effects on me and it's not even on list.
A small bit of immersion. The shrine does a tiny amount of damage to you when you use it to cure any disease, as if taking a small amount of blood. The damage is temporary of course.
this is a very nice mod. The idea behind is that after all starting quests until western watchtower normally those things are discovered and Anise was killed on the way back from Bleakfalls Barrow to the Shopkeeper in Riverwood. At this point after Western Watchtower the idea comes to store those heavy bones. Therefore why not make a peace place instead of an evil one at Anises Cabin. So all done. But herein lies also some ressources. Why not using building materials to repair the cabin as a minor quest. Would be great to hear from a bartender as a rumor that a witch was killed and a cabin may be free to occupy. This does two things. First the impression that things happen in the game and ur gamestyle has an impact on the skyrim world. And secondly u have a cheap , perfectly located home. Lay a book with building instructions in the cabin after getting the quest from a rumor, maybe even different furniture styles and all should fit together. And at the end u can start explore Skyrim as a free, from whitrun respected citizen with the burden of being dragonborn.

She will (installing this mod doesn't remove her), but you won't be able to get much use from the cabin without her becoming hostile.
It's kind of a shame that no one can mod her to instead discreetly offer you an apprenticeship. Like, bring up magic in dialogue somehow, and she hints she may have a few things to teach you. Next you know, you're a witch's apprentice. XD Could make for a neat Winterhold alternative for magic users.
It would. You could even "Be the change" and try your hand at modding something like that. If it works out, a lot of people would probably be grateful.
I tried but I am absolutely terrible with the CK. Anything beyond editing furniture in locations seems to result in me disastrously breaking something, which is quite a feat seeing how Anise only has one script attached - her getting hostile if you enter her cellar no matter what - and it's not persistent. I'll keep trying but am making no promises.
