Thanks for this mod, hope you don't mind but I edited the mod so the soldiers salute and call me by my rank rather thank screaming "for the glory of the empire" when I ask them to follow me or return to their station, found it a bit cheesy
Quick question, does anyone know if its possible to make these followers use the Extensible Follower Framework follower scripts instead of the custom ones? Also I have the bug mentioned previously here that some of my legion followers stopped following me at some point and I can't find them to dismiss them anymore? Now I'm stuck with recruiting a max of 1 of these soldiers at a time
The mod description says that it shouldn't affect vanilla followers... anyone know why this mod removes the CurrentFollowerFaction = -1 flag from almost all vanilla followers?
This is really a great mod and I’ve been enjoying the enhanced prestige of my formerly meaningless imperial rank now that the troops actually defer to my command authority. Thank you sir for your hard work and diligent effort undertaken to create this excellent mod. I would make the recommendation however, that you adjust the numeric value which limits the group of followers to a relatively small squad sized formation. I have circumvented this issue by implementing other mods whose operation and effects are similar to that of your own, so as to increase the number of troops I can conceivably command. Perhaps make an alternative version which raises the permissible number of troops as followers to 20 or 30. I have seen other comments which reflect this same sentiment. Either that, or just provide some instruction on how to implement the necessary changes ourselves if we’re so inclined. As a modder of many other games myself (Total War series, FSX, Battlefield), I can intelligently presume that it comes down to changing a few lines of script to effectuate the desired change. If you want, you could even send me your files and have me implement the changes in your name. Anyways, thanks for the fantastic contribution to the Skyrim mod selection.
Great mod! I've used it in conjunction with faction overhaul, legion variety, perfect legionnaire and legion helmet fix to create some proper soldiers!
WORD OF WARNING: During the civil war do not hire soldiers from invasion camps unless you dismiss them before taking their respective castle. Otherwise the soldiers despawn and your soldier limit is permanently bugged. (Probably fixable with the console but i'm too lazy so i just reloaded).
Soldiers from said castles however are safe, though i find sometimes 1 out of 3 soldiers won't open a dialogue (treacherous scum)
Okay, this might be a dumb question but is there any way to get more than five at once? i wish to take over skyrim with my imperial legion army. WAHWAHHWHHWHAHWHHAHW
It works great, I love it! What I don't like is that they do not follow me "forever" I mean, they follow me for quite a while, but suddenly at some point, they stop following me.
Maybe it's just me? Nevertheless, I love it and it works very well, as long as you don't want them to follow you forever.
I also love that you can rescue imperial or stormcloak prisoners being escorted and role play with them
Hey,im having a slight problem with the soldiers not following me around after a certain range,like they dont want to leave far away from their camp,any fix for that?
Hum... just a question Why this mod touch many followers like Uthgerd, Mjoll, companion members, huscarl and NPC like Feandal... ? It's possible to recruit more than only imperial/stormcloak soldiers ?
