does this works in Special Edition?? i have that t-rex's roar mod from jurassic park movie and replace the dragon's roar but this roar is no good for me, and i actually like that gojira/godzilla's roar in Special Edition
Yes it does. All this mod consists of are sounds that replace the default Dragon roars. Sounds are 100% compatible between game versions for the record.
Hello. I really love this mod and I get happy every time I hear the roars. But I have having a slight problem with the mod. For some reason, every time a close dragon roars, two sounds play at the same time. But when a dragon is farther away (distant roaring) it's fine. Is there any way to fix that to make it just one roar at a time when they're close? Thanks!
I believe it plays the distant and the normal ones at the same time. Dont ask me why. The distant sounds in this mod is louder than the vanilla ones, maybe that is the problem. You'll need advice from someone more knowledgable than me. Perhaps if you replace my distant sounds with the vanilla ones, perhaps that will help.
When I try to use 1.2, I get exactly one roar (which sounds like Godzilla), and then a CTD. Every single time. It crashes the moment the roar is done. I uninstall the mod and everything is back to normal. Any suggestions?
AOS, of course, and genericSoundFix. You're right... I should disable those one at a time and see if either is conflicting. If it's genericSoundFix, I'll leave that off, but I don't think I can do without AOS anymore. There's a reason AOS is insanely popular.
EDIT: If I had to guess, I'd say AOS. The game explodes if I turn off AOS, so there's something about the sound files it installs that makes things wonky unless it's enabled.
I turned off genericSoundFix and it still has problems. Must be something other than those two. Okay, this next weekend, I'll try the old turn-off-half-the-mods-and-see-if-it-works trick. Binary search, bitches! When I find it, I'll be sure to post.
