I have a problem. I was able to start new games with this mod enabled a few times no problem. But now whenever I start a new game with this mod enabled, it crashes as soon as the cart cutscene says "The Elder Scrolls V". I didn't change any of my mods, so I have to wonder. What happened to make this mod start doing that?

I was skeptical of this mod at first, since I already have a large load order and a greatly expanded Windhelm, but this managed to work for me pretty smoothly. Obvious loss of FPS, but nothing I wasn't used to.

I'm really big on mods that flesh out populations, and this was much appreciated considering how measly the Argonian presence was. Now it actually feels like a population problem that would worry the natives living in the main city. I'm sure that a "lite" version wouldn't hurt for some people though.

My one big issue is with how empty and lifeless the assemblage itself is. When the Argonians head in there for the night, they all just stand around and do nothing until it's time to sleep in perfect alignment with each other. I know that the main appeal of this mod is to see them out and about on the docks, as well as all the kids, but I feel that the interior needs to be altered quite a bit to add some extra depth. Maybe having the old assemblage serve as the "common room", then have about 4 or 8 connected rooms where large groups of the residents sleep in. At least a few chairs and benches for them to sit at and not stand around all afternoon.

It still gives it that cramped sense of community and poverty, but in a way that feels for natural. It also seems odd that the orphans just stand outside, even during night hours (unless this is the behavior for the vanilla Hearthfire orphans? I never paid them that much mind). It'd also be interesting if a few of the Argonians took up positions as unofficial "guards" for their people, since you'd figure that they'd want to keep a handle on such a large population. Maybe a few of them go hunting in the immediate wilderness right next to Windhelm.

Really though, I think simply making the assemblage a little bigger with more rooms and "personality" would push this from being a decent mod to a great one. Even as is, it's still got my endorsement.

One of my favourite mods. Been in my load order since the day one, but mostly because of the adoptable children. Seriously, no other mod on Nexus adds argonian children, as in plural. And, with multiple adoptions this mod is even better. But there's always a "but". The same thing you've heard from many, you'll hear from me as well, and that is the vast amount of npcs in one place. That should definitely be toned down. Especially when playing with a low-end machine, one does not simply walk to Windhelm, for they will most likely experience many crashes in the area. Should you ever update this mod, please keep the six girls (or alternatively replace three of them with three boys) for they bring joy to my argonian heart.

I think if I ever work on this mod again I plan to make 6 of the boys adoptable (I think I fixed the toy/pet system) and then move a lot of them out to Solitude swamps, Riften, and Markarth. In fact, given that there won't be an ES VI for quite some time, there's really no excuse not to!

Would you mind just making the adoptable kids instead of teh extra Argonians. As a seperate mod, I mean. I had Argonians in my soup, and I was in Whiterun. Thats just how many Argonians you have in this mod lol

I'm planning to move a lot of them out to Markarth and the Solitude swamps. Not sure when that will happen though . . .

Are any of the male children walking around adoptable, or is my game just glitching out and won't let me? The six ones standing outside are all adoptable, but all female.

EDIT- Nevermind, I adopted them through the console. Hope the playable Hatchling gets fixed!
