Umm is that bow kept around the chest?! In what world would that be better? 1. Proper bows require between (very light bow)20N and (very strong bow)60N of force to pull (equivalent to the weight of 20-60kg or ~40-120lbs) 2. Squeezing your head and chest between the body and the string of the bow (the distance may vary but you're larger especially with armor)is going to be a blast to watch (and not very combat friendly)(for you). 3. Not filing off the body or cutting your string on heavy armor is going to be near impossible, while not getting the string stuck on some edge will definitely be impossible. 4. Putting the bow around your body without rigid armor to support its elastic force is going to put a weight of between 20-60kg (40-120lbs) on your chest. While that is not enough to suffocate a muscular dude, even the minimal 20kg are not comfortable to even just sit around with, let alone run around and fight. 5. Keeping your bow like that is going to put extra strain on its limbs and wear out your bow faster. Bows are even kept unstrung when not in use for this reason (eg. medieval archers typically strung their bows either the morning before a battle or even when their troop was deployed to line up on the battlefield, hunters do so either when they leave hunting, or when they close on the area where they expect their game to be) PS: Here's how a bow is strung (note that the distance between the handle and the string of this bow is enough for that boy's chest, but even he will be unable to fit with just a gambeson on): http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=hCNQdA684rw#t=44
lol, good retort Messes, but seriously, this is a well accepted way of carrying a bow. especially in the old days when nobody gave a crap about pounds per square blah, just as long as it killed something to eat. i've a couple cousins who're huge bow hunters and i've went w/ them a few times. they don't ever carry a compound bow like that of course but they do their recurves. also, if ya want some "expert" acceptance of this method of bow transporting, just look at the newest Tomb Raider game and some Disney flick. forgot the name, star is a red headed viking princess or something. they both carry bows over the shoulder. pretty sure those HUGE budget projects spend a lil time researching that sorta stuff lol
edit: Disney flick is called "Brave"... http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Gtq56VwyGu4/Ui7Qe4bhenI/AAAAAAAAdS4/wUKovGZYYH4/s1600/Merida_Brave.jpg
I would love for this to work with the best quivers ever done for Skyrim:
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/30866//?
Could you do a version that will place these smaller quivers in the right spot for this skeleton?
Right now these smaller quivers float off the back too far with this otherwise perfect skeleton. I would love to have Perfect 3.2's shape, your bow positioning, and be able to use the much better smaller quivers. You should really try out these smaller quivers, they are so superior in terms of the size to everything else out there.
That mod replaces the quiver meshes and is entirely compatible with my mod. Do you want me to make a version of my mod that brings the quivers closer to the body?
The new small quivers version works perfectly and I am really enjoying this. It is the perfect combination of an awesome skeleton shape, bow position, and well positioned small quiver (the vanilla-sized quivers look terrible IMO). This is what I have always hoped for. And I already endorsed yesterday!
Hello I'm curently using the skeleton of female model by Ning, and wanted to know if it is the perfect 3.2 (longer legs),you used ? If yes, I' m gonna replace it by yours as this is a great idea. Thanks for sharing.
the idea is not bad, really i love the way, but instaling this have a problem the bow position make the string enter the body and make very bad to look at, hop have a way to fix it.

Thanks!
I would like those smaller quivers to fit next to the body. Currently they float in the air with this skeleton. Thank you!
I'll be boned if I install this right?
Is it possible to install better bow with XP32 Maximum Skeleton ?
A lot of body mods depends on this skeleton ..
If yes, I' m gonna replace it by yours as this is a great idea.
