@Artokh RE: "With gold being a pretty weak metal (weaker than Iron!) it doesn't really make sense for the second (or third?) best arrow type to have such a soft head. Nope. Not even if it makes it look pretty nice (which it does BTW)."
Think hollow-point bullet... That gold tip will mushroom on impact, which will REALLY f-u up...
Thanks for the Mod mgbeach, I'm gonna try the red arrows myself.
Love your style but would be more awesome as a mod if you did the same retex for all the ebony weapons Black equals the dull metal, the gold equals the decal and sharpened metal, and red for the leather of the handles.
Haha, yeah I'm pretty unapologetic about simply trying to make things look cool. My main beef with all the dark arrows is that they are so often difficult to find on the ground. By giving them a little contrast that problem is solved.
I think it's kind of funny how the ebony arrow (with arrows in Skyrim usually named after the arrow head; iron arrow isn't a wood arrow because of the wooden shaft) suddenly has a gold head. With gold being a pretty weak metal (weaker than Iron!) it doesn't really make sense for the second (or third?) best arrow type to have such a soft head. Nope. Not even if it makes it look pretty nice (which it does BTW).

Endorsed and using.
And... who's to say that it's not painted ebony?
