   yah to me i cant do anything with him. and he randomly attacks chickens. nothing else.

   When I go up to Mike, it looks like I can hit E to talk to him, but when I do, nothing happens.. There's no dialogue options at all.

      Same for me. I've followed him around and clicked "talk" a million times but he just walks away from me

      No he can`t die he is essential. I think if you tell him to go home he goes back to Riverwood.
