I LOVE very much the aspect of this mod (personaly by i made myself and 2 of my followers flame based spellswords, anti vampire sqad and this new familiar is very good for them!
My only "problem" (i know you said be careful with them) the friendly fire dmg. My followers automaticly uses them (summon if they want) and someties in big melee fights our own Familiars kill me by the BIG blow
I asking not by right (i dont have right), just using already no friendly fire spell mods to aviod this effect (like fireball etc, by we are "fire warriors"), but this overwrite it, and the fammiliars have F.F!
If you can, i think you already proven better than me (by i dont even know how to make them behave like regular summons, not just projectiles in wolf form, like vanilla) maybe for you is just a "short update" to turn the frienldy dmg off. Ill thanks yery much!
By the way still my best "small content mod", by my play style (wrote above) so, excellent work!
Hey there, I actually just updated it, i'd uploaded the wrong zip from when I was mucking around figuring out how to upload to nexus. Try updating it and see if you like it a bit more. I just tested it with Twin souls, seems to be working as expected. When one wolf explodes, it can trigger the blast on the second one. You want that removed?
Yeah, I can do a version that explodes on the first wolf attack and just has a buffed version of the vanilla effect. You not a fan of the AOE or Flame Cloak?
Cool mod, I mean to get this spell you have to complete a dungeon so it should be in my opinion a little better. Unfortunately it doesn't explode on my game, it just takes a beating and dies haha! But, most likely it's something on my end, no one else seems to have this problem.
Hmmm, what mods have you got running? When I get a moment I'll try to replicate it. The only time the wolf shouldn't explode is when you're not in combat. He should always blow up when hit! Any combat mods? Skyre?
Ok, as requested I've just made a little change to Wolfy. He now only explodes when the player is in combat or if you hit him(can't have you using him as a punching bag without consequence now can we!). If he survives a fight, he'll just quietly vanish like any other summons at the end of his summon time.
