Do you have specular lighting disabled in your game? At first I thought it was just your style, to make everything very flat (non-gloss), but it looks like the dungeon is flat as well. So that's why I ask.
Well, I tried the "glowing rune" texture mod for the Nord Hero weapons and it didn't look so good. Yours seems more "lore" friendly and hopefully won't hurt my machine. =)
EDIT - Wow! In-game the textures really come alive! You've kept the "ancient" feel but also given them a deadly gleam worthy of the greatest adventurer's arsenal. Thank you for sharing!
Suytrewq with light shaders n textures model Skyrim uses that is quite impossible - whatever you make will work OK only under certain "light" conditions as there is no universal / "right" color or "metal" shine scheme. My arms being primary low light / dungeon weapons are made to work best under these conditions and that they do well as for the rest that - again - depends on location light set-up. Regardless they behave in-game much better then Bethesda ones do. Try them in game and don't judge them by posted low-resulution pictures as they are incapable of showing them for what they really are.
pchefkent they are definitely for Draugr - their "ancient" weapons. So-called Nord Hero ones use / are same models and in reality same textures but with different file names. To answer your question precisely - my (Draugr) ones - will not affect Nord Hero ones.
I have not seen them in game - as yet - or that option you mention - to craft them - but if there is interest I'll add them (in next update) - as some extra bonus.

What a pity :-( The Nord Hero Weapons would *really* benefit from your retex!
