Hello I dont know what the heck is going on, I've tried both loose and other version of this all dlc because I have them, and I just started a new play thru because I wanted to play a magic user this time round , which is why I wanted to use this , and I have to keep disabling and re enabling for this mod to work , its getting beyond annoyance, Level 1-2 and no light is being emitted from a spell equipped in each hand, went into mcm , turned off ignore ban enchants which is checked by default and the basic color is the only thing I changed everything else left on what its starts with no other changes are made.. Turning the enchant ban thing on or off makes no difference... =/ Swapped it out for the main all dlc again, went back with no clean save in between, still didnt emit light, till I turned on and then back on " player enable " hoping it'll stick this time ...
I seem to be having this same problem which is why I have been scrolling posts to find if anyone else has been experiencing it. I suddenly started a new game and the mod stopped working. I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, opening though skse and opening through skyrim.exe. I noticed in votex, there was a "?" in "load order". The mod wasnt being loaded at all. I cant forcefully modify load orders thanks to how vortex works, but I tried asigning it to a group and now its number 02 on my load order (even above all DLCs) Hoping this force will work now that it is atleast being loaded, but I am nervous about it being above the DLCs lol.
UPDATE: This actually worked! If youre having a problem with the mod not working at all, check "Plugins" in vortex and find the installed mod. If it has a "?" in the "load order" collum, here is my solution to you!
Double click on the "?" and it will bring up a side bar menu. Scroll to the middle and find "Group". It will have a dropdown menu available. Click on the dropdown menu and find the "Lighting" option. Asign this mod to the lighting group. Open the game through skyrim.exe (not skse) and it should work!
If the mod has a load order but isnt above your DLCs, this may work as well. However, I make no guarentee.
If this doesn't fix the problem (As the order is already above your DLCs and you are opening through Skyrim.exe) then I suggest you continue searching for your solution elsewhere. Sorry!
(I converted the 0.9 version btw because I already have illuminated atronarch from another mod.)
Mod seems to be working, including MCM. Will update post once I played a few hours with it to share my experience.<
EDIT: Mod works fine after a couple play sessions. Way better then RLO's illuminated spells plugin or others which can glitch out or cast unnecesary shadows.
