As much as I want to endorse this, it comes with the side effect of overriding RS children and turning kids back into creepy potato heads. Maybe I can play around with the load order and 'make' it work...
Edit: doesn't work, sadly. If you have it below your RS children files, it makes the kids look horrifying, but it works. If you move it above said files, the kids return to normal, but you can no longer pick-pocket them. I wish someone would take this old mod and update it, because something as simple as pickpocketing ALL NPC's shouldn't have been excluded from the game in the first place.
This is also nice if you want to REVERSE pickpocket onto children. Like, maybe my character isn't ready to adopt Lucia or Sofie yet, but I still want to give them a few days worth of gold for hot meals or so they can sleep indoors for a bit! (even though, of course, they won't).
Sure Lucia begs and I can give her 1 gp at a time. But I can't give her like 200 gp. Sofie's a little bit easier because she can have like 30 gp of inventoryf or me to buy, but again, if my Dragonborn is a big softie, but not yet a homeowner, there's no way I can give more.
Unless... I can literally just pour gold into their pockets by reverse pickpocketing! :)
Considering this fixes a vanilla bug, can i request this to be added to Arthmoor's USLEEP? Not to take anything away from you and your modding contributions but 1 esp spot for a rare pickpocket bug fix can be either A merged in to a misc. mod esp as i have already made prior to discovering this or B added to USLEEP to save up esp space. Didn't mean no offense if i did cause any and please don't release the hounds on me...
This quest can be considered as a bug in Delvin's quests. It happens sometimes when Delvin gives you a "fishing" quest (because the concerned NPC is a random one).
I just got this quest, steal Minette's necklace over in Solitude. I was like WTF, i cant pickpocket her, left me puzzled for a bit. Stupid vanilla Skyrim bugs!
In the mod that allows you to adopt multiple children from Hearthfire, some children can't be given the items other adopted children have because they are loaded down with stuff. Could this mod be used to fix that problem?
This mod is actually useful: When learning alchemy from Babette, you can't pickpocket the gold back from her because despite being 300 years old, she still counts as a child... but with this mod, it completely fixes that problem. And for the rest of the children... I just slaughter them all. I helped Grelod the Kind by just killing every child in the orphanage and stealing their souls hehehe...
Thanks to this mod I was able to complete Delvin' Request to get a flawless ruby from Francis Beaufort (the kid). I think I should adopt him, he seems to be as good as a thief as myself... Or else I can't explain how he got the ruby. Thank you for making this. I don't usually pickpocket kids, this one goes all on Delvin. The radiant quest might be a little buggy there.
