With this change you may have activated the "Skylighting" part of the ENB. Several has a value other than 0 inside both AmbientMinLevelInterior which probably make your interior a bit brighter. Without an ambient value you can't see SSAO effects, you can try to remove your patch and add a bit of ambient (around 0.2 for example) inside the "Environment" part ("AmbientLightingIntensityDay" and "AmbientLightingIntensityNight" ) then you should start to see the effect.
I've re-packed the mod as a scripted NMM installer that will let you select any plugins to install (the original version installed everything and you had to go in in windows explorer and delete the files that you didn't want). Here is the link:
I think it would be useful because a) I'm at my load order order limit and b) I think that most people have the three DLC packs anyway, especially now with the Legendary Edition of Skyrim.
What didn't you understand about my post? With SSAO enabled, I have it on outdoors. Indoors there is no SSAO with it on. With your mod if I have SSAO enabled, I have it on outdoors. With your mod indoors I only have SSAO when SSAO is turned off. This is all through an ENB.
This should not happen, it makes no sense. If you don't have SSAO enables, then it should not happen anywhere. If you have it turned on, then there is no way my mod should affect it outdoors.
The only thing I could say is use the console command and type ts, see if that does anything.
EDIT: I've also noticed that the console command TFC disables SSAO.
Nevermind it was a problem with my ENB preset's SSAO settings, which is set to make things brighter indoors for some reason when it's turned on. Noticed no change with this mod though, but if it works for others then cool.
I never noticed the problem before so I went to go check it out and realized that there indeed was no change between SSAO on and off in the blue palace. So I downloaded your mod and did the same thing and... still no change. No SSAO in the blue palace. I know everything is right in my enbseries.ini. I have HD7870 GHz Ed. 2gb
What does your mod do that supposedly makes SSAO appear in areas it otherwise does not? Could load order be an issue? I'd troubleshoot it myself but without knowing what your mod actually does I can't really try to fix anything on my end...
Try this, before you download and activate the mod.
1. Go to enbseries.ini 2. Set EnableAmbientOcclusion=true than save it 3. Get in the game and get inside Solitude Palace 4. Hit shift+Enter and load up the ENB GUI 5. Now on click/switch EnableAmbientOcclusion on and off. It should work.

APreciousPony, feel free to upload the file to your page. And thanks again for making the merged plugin.
You say it only seems to work when you have SSAO disabled, what happens when you have the mod + SSAO on?
This is only for ENB SSAO not some other SSAO method, like nVidia control panel.

EDIT: Typo...
1. Using NMM, export your load order.
2. Then unclick everything and only activate your top ESM's and my ESP's.
3. See if that does anything in-game. If not, then you are not having the same issue. If so then, you are...
4. Then import your load order again and try it.
That worked for me. I don't know why. Let me know your results.
You can also test by hitting the ~ key for console command and type ts, which means "toggle sky". This is basically what my mod does.
1. Go to enbseries.ini
2. Set EnableAmbientOcclusion=true than save it
3. Get in the game and get inside Solitude Palace
4. Hit shift+Enter and load up the ENB GUI
5. Now on click/switch EnableAmbientOcclusion on and off. It should work.
Let me know if it works.
