I really like this mod, but there is one thing I would change about it and that is having only one or two thousand instead of ten thousand other than that one small point you have done the rest of us a great service.
the only thing that sucks about this mod is when you can only carry lets say 200 ingots an you have to sit there with your finger on the button(i was taping it down) waiting for it to count down to 200 from 9999 it takes like 20 min. i would have no complaints if the counter started from 1 or if the ingots weighed nothing an you could just carry around 9999 ingots but you cant and it doesn't
Just a suggestion, but, would it be possible to get a version that doesn't repop? I know it's a cheaty mod, but, it still seems a bit OP to have a chest with that much stuff repopping...maybe have the user have to uninstall and reinstall mod to repop it? I mean, there's more stuff in those chests than you could use in a while, especially since there are multiple chests. I wonder if it would be possible to make the Crafter's Storage chests work like an Ender Chest from Minecraft; multiple chests, but one set of inventory that "travels" to each chest as you access that particular chest.
Does this mod work with Open cities Skyrim? cause i dont have the boxes in any city i redownloaded and that is the only thing i have added since i was using them not that long ago..
Great mod. Thanks. I noticed it didn't have any void salts, in case you want to add them at some point. Also tinctures of all colours and plants/berries, etc.
If not, how about an update. That would be nice. You can get a list of all crafting ingredients by typing (without the quotes) "help ingots" hit enter and you will have the codes for all ingots. Same with ore, jewels, gems, etc.
This should help get things rolling:
Stalhrim: FormID: 02B06B
Chitin Plate: FormID: 02B04E
Netch Leather: FormID: 01CD7C
Linen Wrap: FormID: 34cd6
You can find these and more by searching the Wiki page for Skyrim.
I have a feeling this mod has been abandoned though. Hey all, you can always type this into the console, (without the quotes) "coc qasmoke" It will take you to the room of plenty
I just came back here after not caring about Skyrim for a few months. I am absolutely blown away by the amount of attention this has gotten! Almost 500 endorsements! That's amazing! I am glad to say that I am going to publish an update this week (maybe even today), with more chests and more things inside. Thank you for posting the IDs, this is gonna help me out a lot! Hope to see you soon!
To the naysayers: Sure, this is a cheat mod (and it is categorised here correctly on the Nexus), but it is convenient, especially when you're smithing/crafting in a hurry, and if you don't feel like cheating, just don't use it!
What I like best is that I can add this chest to any location and spot I want, though by default it will be available in the vanilla Skyrim cities' blacksmith shops.
Detailed Steps: 1. Decide where in Skyrim you want to place the Crafter's Chest. Works best on a flat piece of terrain, and if your in-game character is staring straight ahead (in level with the floor) in first-person mode within the game. 2. Quicksave (default: F5 key) 3. Open the console (default: tilde ~ key) 4. Type: help crafter 5. Note down the {ID} of the CRAFTER'S STORAGE chest (CONTainer). (TIP: You can always use the PAGEUP and PAGEDOWN keys to scroll through the console's text.) 6. Type: player.placeatme {ID}
(Replace {ID} with the actual ID number of the Crafter's Storage Chest, of course) 7. Now the Crafter's Storage Chest will emerge nearby (literally at the feet of your player character), and it can be used like any other chest. WARNING: DO NOT store any items in it, or they will be lost when its contents respawn! 8. If you didn't like the angle or elevation of the placement of the Chest, just Quickload (default: F9 key), change your viewing angle/height (crouch/standup) and try again. Or see the mods mentioned below. 9. If you don't want that Crafter's Storage Chest you found/placed, click on it with the mouse pointer after opening the console, and type: markfordelete 9. Please endorse this useful mod!!

Can you please add refined aetherium ingots to the chest or provide the item code for it.

I managed to add this "Crafter's Storage Chest" to the uber-useful Haven Bag mod (using the "placeatme" console cheat):
