This is a must have each time i install the game. I never played oblivion (besides at a friends place once (For a bit)) , but i have always loved its robes. The colors are great and i had used the brown (third in the picture) and black a great many times. They are really cool.
PSS: i also made a custom retexture (for personal use) for the charmer's robe (purple-ish one that i normally never used) to mimic the Imperial arch mages outfit in Oblivion. I'l post a picture for those that are curious how it looks so far (i am bound to improve it over time, making it even closer to oblivion)

You are beautiful! Could I maybe, pretty please, use the black robes for my Lucien mod? http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=262254414 I'll list you as a co-creator or something! Also, I love you... please?
(If you say it's okay to use them in my mod, could you tell me what you named them in the creation kit so I can find them...)
(Also, could you tell me the programs you used; I can't get any to work for me...)
Sure, any file I've included in this mod is free to use. No need to list me as co-author, just mention it in the credits please. I would appreciate a link back when you're done, but only because I am curious. It's not required.
All forms added by this mod have the prefix Sycophant. If you filter by that, you should be able to easily find all of the relevant Armor and ArmorAddon forms.
As far as programs, all I used was photoshop and nifskope (and the CK of course). What sorts of issues are you having? If you just want the black robes, you shouldn't need to use anything besides the CK.
Could you, pretty please, maybe add a faint red plam print on the left breast of a pair of the black robes? This image: http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120310225844/elderscrolls/images/6/66/Dbhand.png Pretty please? It would be so much better for my mod... I would, but I can't get my image editors to work with the .dds files... Only if you have the time; I'd hate to be an inconvenience... Thanks!
(looking at the robes, I don't think it would look right on the breast; perhaps on the left front triangle dangley? Or just put it where ever feels right, if you're even going to... also, have I told you how awesome you are? You are very awesome.)
I am not currently actively modding. I still check this site from time to time to answer questions that people may have, but I am not planning to add more content to this mod.
The Gimp, which is a free image editing software, has a dds plugin that allows you to edit textures and create normal maps. You may want to check that out if you're interested in creating more personalized mods.
I've tried the GIMP plugin; it doesn't work for me for some unknown reason... I can't get anything to edit the .dds files, that's why I needed to use your mod, or I'd've done everything myself... It's okay, though. I can just use black.
f*#@ YES!!!!! I guess the .dds files I extracted from the Skyrim.bsa file must be corrupted, because your files open just fine (does victory dance) Thanks for everything, I'll be sure to credit you AND leave a link here for you! I love you, by the way. Just thought I'd let you know...
Really been looking for some of these since I saw the horrible vanilla non-college "robes" (I consider them wrappings really). What would be awesome would be a remesh of the hoods or just other types of matching colour hoods. Endorse and tracked anyway. Great one.
Great job, been using this pack for a while, always wanted to find something like this, looks great on all types of characters due to the variation of colours...evil or good character, looks great on both
also, there is a minor glitch...if in first person you look down, you see this blackish triangle thing...don't know if this came with the original mystic dawn robe mesh, but if you can fix it,it would be nice... i usaly play in third person, but when i play in first, its annoying to look at it a bit =P...great mod
These look really nice . It would be very cool if you make a re-skin of the Mythic Dawn robe and make it look like the robe Claude Frollo wore in Disney's "The Hunchback of Notre Dame".
Frollo has some black and red striped shoulder thingies that the Mythic Dawn robe doesn't have. Would you prefer if I leave those out, or if I put red and black stripes elsewhere?

PS: Asking nicely for more colors. :^)
Thanks for making them.
